The best deep dish pizza I've had outside of Chicago, and better than some in Chicago. Excellent quality ingredients and great service every time. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

If you're longing for Chi-town, stop by and taste the polish dog, deep dish pizza, and-or the beef sandwich. The eatery is so branded by Chicago that the fond memories began flooding the mind of this Chicago-lover even before I tasted the polish sausage! The prices are reasonable. Yowza! ??✅️

Great service the other day—it was our first time trying this place and first experience with Chicago-style pizza. The guy at the front working the register and pick-up orders was super-friendly and welcoming!

The other day we went and tried this place in Santee/Lakeside. I had seen a show on the Food Channel, and that talked about deep-dish pizza. Before sitting down, we ordered our pizza. We got in around 5 pm on a Wednesday. Ordered a large 3" thick deep dish, with Pepperoni, Sausage, and Mushroom, before taking a seat. Looks like a new place. They said it would be a little longer because it was a deep dish. We were the only ones there, but several people walked in to pick up their pizza. We had a salad, then the pizza arrived. OMG, that sauce was different than anything we've ever tasted. Usually, Italian sauce has a sour finish. But this one was like thick sweet tomatos, the best sauce we ever had. We each had two slices. Took the 4 pieces home for the next day's lunch. The box was heavy. They also have thin and medium crusts. This is now a favorite of ours. I've only tried one other deep dish place in Pacific Beach years ago. I don't remember theirs being this good. A must try, with friends. I wish I had remembered to take pictures.

Not sure if I just got a bad cook or what but the pizza was pretty disappointing. By the time we got home and inspected it, the pizza had completely slid to one side - which means the the sauce was way too wet. Been eating Lefty's when I lived in north park and was hoping I'd have something equal or even better when I came here. For the price (near $60), it wasn't worth it at all
The attitude the guy gave me and my friend was amazing when we were ordering. he was patient and kind. the pizza was also amazing too.Parking: there's like 6 parking spots approximatelyKid-friendliness: there's board games while they make the pizza

They claim to be a genuine Chicago-style pizza place. If you've never been to Chicago, you could believe it. Being born and raised there, however, the gap is pretty wide. Don't get me wrong, it's not that their food is bad, but for me, it's all about managing expectations. They try to be Chicago-style, but they don't make the grade. Chicago-style Italian sausage is more like a blend of mild and sweet; the Italian sausage here is hot. The Chicago way is to put on the tomatoe sauce, then the toppings, then the cheese (except for the stuffed pizza). Here, they put on the sauce, then the cheese, then the toppings.

This place has great food. The service is awesome and can't wait to be back. Highly recommend this place the next time you're having a hankering for pizza. Food portion is bigger than you think. Delish!

I saw ads for this place through Instagram, and I'm so glad that I did. Not only is the pizza phenomenal, but so is the customer service! Both people we came across were so nice and went the extra mile to make sure our experience was the best. We ordered zucchini sticks (yum) and a pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, and jalapeño thin crust pizza. The pizza sauce is so flavorful, probably one of the best I've had, and I've eaten pizza in Italy lol. 10/10 recommend!
