Denny's in Santee is getting run down the service is not great. They charge 50 cents per egg extra when you order the Grand slam or the slam it's just not the same anymore it's all run down and again the service was not great

This Denny's location has been a family favorite for years. This location has consistently provided a great experience! The friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and classic diner options, especially breakfast all day, are some key highlights. It's also great that they've reintroduced the value menu, offering more affordable choices. The staff is friendly and always provides good service.

Smaller Denny's diner, waitress was attentive and ok. We liked the boneless wings and Oreo milkshake alot. Coffee was very hot and when asked they refilled it for free. Briochie French Toast $4.39 for 2 pieces (nothing else included) seems to be something frozen from a box, not made onsite. I did not like it and only ate one and left the rest. I would recommend normal French toast or pancakes instead, but this is probably the same at all Denny's chain diners. TIP: look at the Denny's website before ordering it seems they have some cheaper deals not listed on the menu.
Kid-friendliness: Ok place for kids as it is not very formal, so they can be a little louder.

It’s Christmas day and I came in to have a cup of coffee and breakfast.
Staff was very busy talking among themselves with the manager and basically ignoring the client at the counter. We had to get our own menus and their attention. Holiday menu the basic breakfast $15-$20.
I’m just having coffee. She pour my coffee and put a cold spoon in it.
I can’t imagine how Dennys thinks that are that kind of dining experience.

Our server, Francisco, was very detailed with our order. Very polite and attentive. He made us feel comfortable and we were able to enjoy our breakfast to the fullest. With no doubt we will return and recommend this location. Superb service.

Checked out this Denny's after a soccer game on Santee. we had a party of 8 and they had our table ready within 10 minutes. I was so hungry and forgot to take pictures. The food's always great at Denny's.
A nicer location compared to the other locations, but still same good food just like the other Denny's.
This, time I was trying to use a reward deal that I got in the email, it didn't work. In the app or the browser still same issue.
I logged out and back again, same. Finally I asked the lady (Carolina) she recognized the issue and apologized for any inconvenience.
They gave us a free delicious milkshake and offered a discount. I was a little embarrassed that I asked about the reward. This type of attitude makes the customers always favor Denny's and always come back.

Wonderful service! Sorry but we got to see you chatting it up with everyone else and talking on your cell phone. I understand not wanting to working late but it wouldn't have taken long to ask us what drinks we'd like, was sitting for like 30 min with only 2 other groups in the Denny's. Hope it'll be better next time?

We sat outside on a Saturday morning with our dog and enjoyed a great breakfast! Service was fast and friendly.🤩 our server brought us a bowl of water for our dog without me asking and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!
