I am so surprised by all the positive reviews. We ordered delivery through postmates and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The amount of cheese and grease made the pizza and garlic bread inedible. I understand that quality decreases with delivery sometimes and items need to be reheated but this was not salvageable.

Mysecond visit!! Walked right in and was seated right away. The placed smelled so good couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a yummy turkey sub with hot fries. Sangria OH so delicious! Did I mention the service.. Excellent!!Monique makes the meal complete!! The dinning experience is made so much better when you have such a lovely server as Monique. I truly enjoy the atmosphere.... the friendliness and cleanliness of the restaurant. PLENTY OF PARKING. For those disabled like myself the restaurant is disabled friendly. You'll enjoy thehanging empty wine bottles and the intimate atmosphere. Bring a dateRelax with a glass of sangria the warm friendlyatmosphere.I give thisrestaurant the highest rating I could possibly give. OH DON'T FORGET THE SPAMONI DESERTYUMMY!!

I don't usually post about bad food experiences but this one can't go without comment. Went there today to celebrate a couple birthdays. Ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas and 1 large cheese pizza. My kids and nephews all grabbed a slice of pepperoni, then I grabbed one from the same platter. The second bite I felt something hard and chewy in my mouth. Pulled out a plastic bread bag clip, one of the square ones. It was baked in the pizza! I didn't make a big scene, calmly informed the waitress what happened. She seemed sincere in her apology and at the end of the meal she took half a pizza off the bill. Be careful when you go there. If it had been in my kid's pizza it would not have been good for their employees.

I drive 25 minutes to pick up our pizza, then 25 back home. This is the original Filippi's - I grew up eating here. Excellent!If you don't like tons of cheese, do like we do, ask for easy cheese and you'll have the amount most other places put on theirs. It's soooooo good!Desserts are great, too!

Excellent Italian food! I went here for the first time during a trip to San Diego and tried it. Loved the Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and the auroma of the cheese mmmm sooooo good. Also had a caesar salad totally recommend this place it is very classical. Next time I will try the pizza and anti pasto salad.
