It’s counter service and food was served in takeout dishes with plastic forks. Loud music, grumpy counter staff. Food was good, but spicy level 6 was not very spicy. Asked for some chili peppers or hot sauce. What they brought out was soooo delicious. Generous

Great little place for local Thai food. I wish they had fresh spring rolls, but unfortunately, they don't. But the food was hot, fresh and very flavorful!

Don’t order through app! They do not turn ordering off at times they are not excepting app orders and they will not refund you if you make the mistake of ordering. I was trying to order dinner and it went through for the following morning. I called and left voicemails and called the next morning, they were very rude on the phone and stated they would not refund me.

The food is outstanding. We ordered potstickers and Thai iced tea to start. I had chicken yellow curry and my husband had chicken pineapple curry. Excellent flavor. Excellent service. The only bad thing was this shrill , loud screeching coming from some machine in the kitchen that made dining in very unpleasant. Get it to go. You’ll be happy you did.

Vegetarian options: Tofu and mock chicken available, in additional to vegetable-only choices.

Vegetarian options: Red Curry is the BOMB!♡Noodles are very fresh!Rice ?= steamed, fried, sticky rice as well as "specialty" fried rice. ALL are delish!

Kid-friendliness: Several options that kid appropriate

Parking: RESERVED PARKING SPOT FOR PICK/UP, TAKE AWAY.

Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian & protein options that include "mock" meat, tofu, shrimp etc. Great choices.

The food was good, but there was a funky smell like rotten meat. So I opted out of any meat in my dish ?

Definitely the kind of place you get takeout from, but putting that aside…The pad Thai was pretty solid. A 7/10 beef pad Thai wasn’t as spicy as I would’ve hoped. Should’ve gone 8 or 9. But it was flavorful, neither over or undercooked noodles, beef itself was pretty good.Par or better than average for your average strip mall Thai place. The wontons were solid, but I’m ordering them extra crispy next time.

Recommended dishes: Cream Cheese Wontons

By far one of the worst dining experiences I have had in San Diego. This is not Thai food. Don't order here if you value your money, your stomach and your desire for great Thai food.

Food is good but service and portion size have gone downhill. If it's hot out, don't bother trying to eat here. They have had a "broken" sign taped over the ac control for over a year now. Honestly I don't know how it's safe for the cooks to work in such heat.I won't be back, there are plenty of other options.

I walked in and in 30 seconds, I walked out. The cashier's attitude was unpleasant. The temperature outside was 92 degrees, inside was over 100 degrees. Lacking costumer service. The inside decor is very uninviting.

Walked inside and it had to be at least 85 degrees inside. Food was less than mediocre. I asked for non spicy food so I could give it to my kids. The food was spicy. The staff then argued with me before reluctantly allowing me to switch meals. Will definitely not be returning.

I was excited to see a Thai kitchen in Santee. So I decided to stop by for lunch with my wife. Horrible mistake! Service was extremely rude, I asked for stir fry chicken but instead received cabbage with chicken. More cabbage than chicken! 70/30 ratio. Extremely disappointed. Never going back

I walked into the restaurant just before closing and placed a to-go order. I requested my Panang Curry with spice level 4 out of 10. I had said 5 at first, but the guy at the counter said that for them, 5 is Jalapeno. So I lowered my number to a 4.When I got home and served up the curry, it was somewhere between Habanero and Ghost pepper. INEDIBLE.By the time I discovered this problem, the store had already closed. So, I called the next day and explained the situation. He finds my oreder and acknowledges that the order was for spicy level 4. So what? Basically, they don't care. "We can do anything for the spicy because you ordered it that way."Thus ensued a 15 minute conversation wherein I request a replacement bowl of curry. "We can't do that because you ordered it." Huh? I can hear the obviously angry cook in the background, yelling in a foreign language,.The kid acknowledged his comment and turned to me and tried again to tell me it was my fault. FINALLY, he agreed to replace the curry "as a one-time favor". We agree that this replacement curry will have a spicy level of ZERO.So, I drive back to the restaurant to get my curry. Again, he tells me, "spicy level of zero." NOPE, it was hotter than the first one! What the heck!?!?! Completely dishonest. Completely inedible food. Completely disgusting lack of customer service.I've long enjoyed Gor Gai as our go-to Thai food in Santee. Not anymore! They cannot be trusted, and they just don't care about customers.BTW, I poured the inedible curry down the sink. It will probably clean my pipes spic and span!
