This location is a nightmare! The entire staff is slow and inattentive, The food came out 30 minutes late and was cold, Ham was hard as a rock. The presentation and taste of every plate of food was horrible. Adults and kids did not like it at all. From the service to the food… horrible I can never recommend this location.
The entire staff needs to be retrained or re hired.

After reading reviews I'm kicking myself for even coming here. The lowest rated reviews are like a manual of what happened to my daughter and I. I first felt as though are waitress needed us to hurry and get out even though hardly anyone was there at 9 am. Along with the fact that we were never checked on until the check was given, shortly after receiving our food I must add. I think it was more important to be by the kitchen shooting the breeze. The food, oh the food. My daughter loved the pancakes, but the sausage not so much, cold slimey just like mine. Informed the waitress of the sausage she told us she inform the manager, not sure what happened after that if anything. Her bacon was OK, mine not so much. My French toast was OK. Doughy like not cook all the way. My drink, $4.19 for a 8 Oz soda??? WOW. Over all, very disappointing. With this review I have no grand illusions that anything will happen but a generic message about being sorry for the experience. Customer service has died, not much more can be said.

I have never written a review before, I’m an incredibly easy going person so for me to leave a 1 says a lot. It’s my girlfriends birthday so I took her here with a few other for the FIRST time, we got seated and ordered some drinks. Kelsey was our waitress so after ordering the food itself we never saw her again for over an hour. No one to ask about refills, the tables had nothing to compliment the food no jelly no creamer no Tabasco nothing. Even the people around us were leaving due to wait time, not sure if they were that understaffed or what, anyways after just about an hour SOME of the food comes, my gf gets nothing brought to her, my parents and I get half the stuff that was ordered. So of course we’re not gonna be rude and eat while someone has nothing so after 20 minutes all the food finally comes but most of it is cold. During the wait we talked to the manager who was very cool himself and doing his best to compensate and I saw he had been talked to by a couple other customers before we did. They took off about 20 bucks so I’m gonna pay and I let the others walk before me and the lady at the front(hispanic girl, multiple ear piercings, didn’t get a name) rudely asks my gf “are you guys gonna pay?!” Mind you the damn door is only 8 feet away from the register so god forbid the people NOT PAYING walk past, I pay the bill and first time EVER gave a 0%. So ya first and last time i’ll ever go here

Service was awful, no butter for our food had to wait a bit for creamer for our coffee. Waitress never asked how everything was. Didn't see if we needed coffee. Told lady at register food was good but service was awful, she said at least u had something good

The food is always good and the employees are always very friendly. I have gone to several IHOP restaurants in the area, but this one is my favorite. I will travel to this one even when I am closer to one of the other ones in the area. Of course when I'm done I can walk across the parking lot to Trader Joe's which is a bonus. This is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants.

3 generations loved the place. Christian was a superior waiter, welcomed us, paid attention and made us feel wanted. Food was great. We will be back next week after church. Many choices for everyone. Prices are good. Loved the senior menu and the child's selections.

For this IHOP is very convenient very clean and has excellent Waite staff! The food was delicious as usual and dessert was a milkshake To die for. The only problem we ran into was the sun coming through the shade was blinding my mother, so it took about half an hour for that to stop. Other than that, I always love coming here when I visit from out of town.

First-time coming to this place IHOP location on Santee. We got there at 11:34am. Waited for a seat it was 11:52am. I seen chaos going on. Finally they called us and seated us to a booth that I told the hostess can you assign us to another table. She (short Mexican lady with dark brown hair, curly hair wearing glasses) said this is what I have for now. It was tight around my stomach. I had to sit up straight in order to fit. She told us you have to used plastic fork and knife 🗡. Because they dishwasher is broken and we don't have any water. I noticed that the customers behind us had sliver forks and knives. So we place the order and wait for a long time. We were the last one to get our order. I wanted to leave until here it comes. The food was Luke-warmed. The waitress (Cristina)was really rude manner towards us. She said anything else? I told her after this bring the check. We were out of IHOP at 2:00pm. I was very upset on how we were treated and why if something happens, the hostress should of close the door and explained why the IHOP was suddenly closed.oh no. They were still accepting walk-ins customers and not telling them what is the problem. Just take orders and let the customer wait for the food to be served for a quite a long time. And not get a discount for long periods of time. I never had a horrible experience with this IHOP especially with the hostess and waitress that were very rude to us in a time of long period of waiting for the order to be served. This is a horrible place. I rate this IHOP A BIG FAT ZERO!!

Would give zero stars if I could. They had forgotten both of our kids food, didnt ask me what side I wanted with my omelet, and put moldy strawberries in a strawberry lemonade drink. Disappointing, we took a family member there for their birthday.
