I'll start this review off stating that I sent in a complaint to their corporate office and gave them almost 2 weeks to reach out and respond. They unfortunately haven't...so this review will be about my latest experience with the Santee location (on January 10th). I've eaten at Luna Grill many times and I love their food so I'm giving them 2 stars for their food; however, after this last experience I will be taking my business elsewhere when I crave Mediterranean food. The blatant lack of respect for their customers is very disappointing 😞 They clearly have shown they don't care about what their takeout order did to my car. I've attached photos as well to document what occurred. I ordered online through their app, and then drove 10 minutes into town to pick up the 2 bowls. Grabbed the to-go order and placed the bag on the front passenger seat of my car. When I got home, reached over to the passenger side and grabbed the bag, the bag immediately tore and some kind of oil or sauce spilled all over my seat, center console, etc. Whoever packed up my order, placed the 2 bowls in a bag and those bowls had clearly been sitting in some kind of sauce or oil on the counter at the restaurant...which soaked through the bag on my 10 min drive home. So, instead of going into my house to enjoy my bowl, I was wiping up oil from my seats and console for 10 minutes. The worst part is that the oil had seeped through the holes in my passenger seat...which are ventilation holes, which potentially could have caused a mechanical issue with the ventilation...or seat warmers. As soon as I cleaned up everything the best I could, I immediately wrote to Luna Grill. And like I said earlier...zero contact, zero care or concern for my experience. So just be aware if you get takeout...don't place the bag on your seat or you could potentially be dealing with a very oily and messy situation. And just know that if you have a bad experience...they don't care.

I always have a good experience at this location. This last visit, Robert and Brandon were super helpful, friendly, and upbeat. Robert kept the tables clean and had a good repore with a regular customer. He suggested trying the new salad without the dressing first and he was right. It was delicious without the dressing/extra calories.
