The marinara sauce is amazing, loved the food. I went there once only and I was impressed with everything, although the staff is super friendly, the service was a little too slow and that is why I am giving 4 stars, cannot wait to go back and update my review if the service has gotten better.

On Saturday, 13 September 2025 I made reservations to Nicolosi's online via Google which said the place was open. We got there and it was closed for remodeling and is going to open as an entirely different place. Their website didn't say they were closed so I searched more and found that the FB page had the closed for good notice. We weren't the only people to blunder into this--another couple arrived just as we did.
Would love to try their food, unfortunately this place is Closed, location Santee, Ca.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the best. My dad & daughter barely touched their plate. When i attempted mine there was a hair in mine. Overall won’t be returning.

Food was very good. Absolutely loved the sauce! But I won’t be back because $33 for a glass of wine and a small portion of spaghetti that was so small, there were no leftovers (plus small piece of bread) is way outrageously expensive to me for lunch.
I ordered delivery once and again, tiny portion, huge price. Really???
So disappointed, because it really was delicious.

Victoria, our server, was super nice!
This place used to be in La Mesa and then it disappeared. Glad we found it again in this neighborhood after they relocated. Has outdoor dining, happy hour, lunch specials and a vegan menu.
We came during lunch but decided against ordering from the lunch menu to sample more items.
-5 it’s lightly breaded, doesn’t taste frozen, not drenched in sauce, came with blue cheese and ranch dipping.
-Trio: spaghetti,ravioli, lasagna
-Linguine clams in white sauce
We prefer their red sauce over the white sauce. If we come back, we will stick to the lunch menu because the red sauce entrees are on there and it’s affordable.
Baked Spaghetti - ricotta cheese, Romano cheese and mozzarella cheese topped w marinara sauce. Tasted sweet.
White sauce pizza - basically all the white cheese. Tasted sweet like the baked spaghetti.
Penne Pesto Chicken- has fresh pesto with the pine nuts and our favorite out of all.
Great neighborhood spot for some delicious pizza and pasta. Definitely worth it getting the meat lovers pizza. I felt like I was eating mostly meat and a tiny bit of pizza hehehe.
