Okawa Steak House & Sushi

Overpriced. Not much of an atmosphere. Service is good. Food ok.Not someplace I would take a date!!

The tuna tataki, and sashimi were great. The hibachi lobster was way over cooked, burnt and hard on one side. The shrimp was hard and over cooked, the scallops were a bit under cooked.

Tried to celebrate my birthday here tonight. When the employees got in a screaming match that continued for several minutes, I completely lost my appetite. Then the chef explained they treat the chefs so bad he was leaving for another job next week. This was my favorite restaurant as the food is usually excellent. Very expensive and disappointing way to celebrate my birthday with my family.

Not the hibachi experience I expected.. food was good other than the noodles.
I felt rushed. Could have been just as good in take out without the overpriced dinning experience. The cook was nice and skillful without the art of that cuisine. He was just doing his job as expected I suppose. Will go back if I have no other choice.

Their pork gyoza is the best! We went for sushi and enjoyed everything. Their hand rolls are large and stuffed. My only complaint was that my spicy scallop hand roll had sand or rocks or something in it, I thought I was going to bust out a filling, so I would skip the scallops next time. Lunch was pretty reasonable and wine pours are awesome

Service was quick and friendly. The food arrived fast, our group got the hibachi scallops, samurai steak, and 3 sushi rolls (crunchy roll, hot fancy roll, and rainbow roll)
Everyone was happy with their meals. The scallops were cooked perfectly - as anyone who eats scallops can tell you they are easy to overcook. The steak was cooked as specified and was tender and juicy. All 3 sushi rolls were very distinct and each was tasty. Even the soup and salad that came with the hibachi meals was great. We went for an early lunch, but when we go back we will try happy hour as I think that's where Okawa will shine even brighter.

Parking: Parking is available right out front, and nearby. Plenty of spots available.

Excellent food at very good prices. Lunchenunis especially a good deal.

Very nice Japanese Habachi Resturant with good food cooked right in front of you. Great lunch specials and watch the show while you eat. You may want to make reservations as it only has a limited number of tables. Highly recommended!

Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the show as the chef make dinner in front of them!

The food incredible. The host Terry, rude!!
The seating is terrible. Small and you must make reservations. Which I did. They ignored my family and gave our table to 2 other families.
With no apologies. Great food but not worth the terrible service.

The food is always great but you go here for the experience of being entertained while your food is being prepared. This is the second time that the chef was a 2 when it comes to fun. Then with a family of 6 you get hit with the auto gratuity. It's like they know they don't have to do anything because the tip is already included!

I had the Hibachi chicken and salmon: both were delicious and cooked perfectly! I had the fried rice which is a must have! Others in our party who had the Hibachi steak said it was excellent! I would try the steak next time. The chef was excellent and made the experience lots of fun.
The meal came with soup and salad.
