Rubio's Coastal Grill

I have been coming to this Rubio’s for years. Last Thursday I got a couple of fish tacos for lunch-when I got my food home and opened the wrapper I found a hair inside of one of my tacos. When I reported the issue over the phone the manager asked if I would like them to remake it for me. I was kind of psyched out so I just asked for a refund-the manager told me I had to come all the way back to the restaurant to process the refund and didn’t offer any further compensation, not even a gift card. While mistakes do happen I have unfortunately lost my trust in this Rubio’s location and don’t see myself returning. If you’re making food for someone you need to be more careful.

I got an email saying that the system may not have received my order. I called the store and a very sweet and friendly girl told me it was ready!!

I would have sat in the restaurant to eat had it been cooler. Offer for $1 taco was nice, but it took 3 of us to figure out how to apply it to my online order. Thankfully, it wasn't busy.

Let me tell you something. I did NOT like the food but that’s on me because I decided to try their new “island breeze” burrito and man it was not it. Like someone tell the chef who concocted this burrito up in corporate to not do that again. It had like a Tajin pineapple sauce which got over powered by the wasabi lime crema??? Idk what that even is but it wasn’t it. Anyways the service was quick and your basic average order at the cashier situation experience. I did notice a lot of…I’m not sure how to say it but a certain demographic eats here a lot which maybe explains why these “exotic” island vibe burrito would appeal to them but not to me. They loose a star for that on the atmosphere and a star on the food because of the atrocity corporate came up with.

The lady with the dog in the establishment was awful to watch while eating. She helped herself with condiments. She gave her dog water in the establishment. She touched all the condiments severing utensils. I couldn't enjoy my meal until she was gone. I was glad I took all my sauce I needed before her.

Hey people. Rubio’s JUST CUT ALL THE BOWLS SIZES IN ABSOLUTE HALF / but actually raised the price. I think this will make me bail from ever ordering a bowl here again. Today has to order a taco on top of it cause the bowl was literally half of what this usually is. Frankly we should report this to the consumer agencies/
I Will order tacos instead and if I notice they change the protein size on this I’ll never come back again. I used to rest here basically daily. Not anymore. Not cause I’m stingy. But cause of principle. That’s it. Bye bye Rubio’s. Check it out !!! They went from that to this. In one day. Employees told me they were sorry/ that they agreed with me.

I made a mistake in how I asked for my order and ended up ordering burritos with contents that I did not want on the burrito. Daniela helped me get the order correct and fix the mistake I had made myself. Very amazing staff all around as the cooks were also quick and courteous. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience along with the delicious food!

Disappointed the quinoa was hard a blend of rice., never again., the pricey bowl not worth it.

Since all the poor employees wanted to get $20 an hour now the burrito cost her $15 a burrito. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can make it for cheaper fast food turned out to be scum food
