I Have not eaten submarina in 10 years or so and I ate here the other day to be very unimpressed... it tasted bland tbh, I'll stick to the other sandwich shop.... initials are J.M and always full of flavor.

I have placed door dash orders here and called to make sure they were correct and every person who has helped me on the phone with my order was so nice. I really appreciate the extra mile all the staff goes in order to make sure you have a great sandwich!

I love the subs from Submarina. They are great. However, the last 2 times I ordered delivery, there has been errors in the order. They tell me that it's "just a mistake". I understand once, but twice in a row?

Great food but the manager Rita is rude. She is unprofessional and speaks horrible. I will never go back to the Santee location. The owner needs to find a new manager.

I wish submarine would get it! I go in and order a sandwich and asked the lady to please put my sandwich on paper because I don't want my sandwich on a recently wiped wet board, and she does exactly as I asked but in the meantime with gloves on she wipes the board and the proceeds to make my sandwich on a paper with wet rag gloves yuck! Really !! Don't take my word for it watch them next time they make your sandwich.

Submarina is on a par with Jersey Mike's. Waaaaay better than Subway (but then, what isn't?). Not as good as Board & Brew. Meat and cheese sliced fresh to order for each sandwich. Fresh toppings. Good for a to-go sandwich, not much to offer for dining in at this Santee location. Service was friendly and efficient.

Being new to the area, I've passed by every now and then, every time I do pass by there is always a couple people inside ( that tells me that it's good) First impression staff were friendly, even went over certain things on the menu. I ordered the Cesar sand which on their jalapeño bread and omgggg it was everything and more. The turkey and toppings were fresh. The bread was soft and fluffy! I definitely will be back!
