I am super disappointed with this restaurant and will never be coming here again. The manager of this place told a sweet man who is special needs that he would not hire him because he cannot go fast enough... and then proceeded to say "I would hire you to be a host, a women's job but I am still not hiring you." It completely broke my heart and the rest of the time the man was quiet and ate the rest of his food.

This sushi spot is a true gem! The food is so delicious! It's great quality food at good pricing! They serve some of the BEST oysters I've ever had..I ate them so fast. There are so many tasty choices. I only remember the name of 2 really good ones that I highly recommend. Try the Lemon Cilantro roll and the Twister or Tornado roll (something like that) it has tender crispy potato around it, OMG. It blew my mind!! Incredible gem in Santee ? 5/5 ? oh, and 1 more thing, Kareem is amazing! Shout out to you for making my 1st experience so nice! I'll see you soon!

If there was a 0 star I’d leave it. Expect to get food poisoning from this place. There is no sanitary methods being used. The fish is kept way too warm. I can’t believe this place is still allowed to be open.

I had a synergy gift card, so we decided to try this place out. I am so happy we did!!! It's hard to find a good sushi place that also does bomb ramen! We had the gyoza, tonkatsu ramen, tuna seaweed salad, shrimp tempura roll and chicken yakisoba. Everything was absolutely amazing. I am happy that they were able to accommodate my diet by making my roll without rice.

Kid-friendliness: They had lemonade and kids dishes that my daughter enjoyed.

Ive been to the Rancho location too many times to count but this was my first time at the Santee location. I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good. The service was excellent, they even offered fresh wasabi. I also had my two favorite rolls, lemon cilantro and salsa. I'd definitely come back to this location again.

Seriously, the sushi and staff are great. However the cleanliness that’s not great. The walls floors tables need deep, cleaning. Cleanliness in a restaurant goes a long way I’m going back a few weeks with a group of friends. Hopefully this issue was taken care of by then it is now August 9, 2023. Get yourself some ladders a couple of good cleaning people and get this place into shape wouldn’t take but a couple of hours once a week. Photos are not necessary. Just take a look the next time you’re there. Hopefully management reads these reviews, reviews break and make businesses.
