This spot is very simple, but the chicken is on point! It tasted fresh, juicy, and tender. The side I ordered were the coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was my favorite. The inside of the restaurant is clean and organized. There is plenty of parking in this strip mall. The lady at the counter was very friendly and was able to move the line along quickly. Overall this was a good meal, I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area!

Heard of this place via Facebook....we thought we'd give it a whirl. Ordered calamari, fish, french fries, mac/cheese, cole slaw and a Thai ice tea. The only item worth consuming were the fries. I'm not sure how they can sell it as calamari, that was not calamari! The fish was dry! Mac/cheese seemed very processed! Cole slaw was just ok, bland! The oil seemed very burnt, old oil. Asked for a cup for some water, shetold me they only sell bottled water with the water dispenser sitti g on the counter....and she was surprised when i pointed it out. The atmosphere is pretty old and tired, just some tables & chairs, video games for the kiddos. Looked very dirty in areas, complete filth by the fish tank. Paid $35.....ate a few bits of each but mostly threw it all in the trash. You could do so much better.

The fried chicken is definitely one of the best in San Diego, always fresh, super crispy. I was surprised by how good the fried cod was. 10x better than any fast food chain restaurant.

Definitely recommend coming here, atmosphere is pleasant with free arcade games while you wait, food is made to order so it's very fresh and hot, quite tasty as well (gizzards are amazing with their hot sauce). If you are looking for good southern style food, try this place. Service was comforting and personable. Give it a try. ?
