Cute, semi-private spot to enjoy a pretty good menu. All outdoor dining. Wish I tried the Mac n Cheese, maybe next time
Twice the price and 1/3 the portion. Cashier was untrained but not rude. Staff on the pick up side where you paid was extremely rude and disrespectful. Would not give us hot sauce or a tartar sauce. They also take about 30mins after you order, for food to be ready..ok... but when you finally get it the disappointment sets in. Such a scam for such a beautiful location. I recommend going to Imperial Beach location. Or even downtown.
while the ambiance next to the land ( and Lake ) scape is So beautiful, and, very nice service people, V E R Y V E R Y Expensive !!!I asked for Also , since it's SuPossed to be an " Oyster Bar " as well , for the fried Oysters, they didn't have any.and Way W A Y Worse , as far as what you get ( talking the Famous Fish and Chips Which I see a few posted pictures from Others showing 6 pieces , That's a Lot more costly, than the 3 piece , so they thought everything was devine, it looks like )you get V E R Y Little of it ( the three piece ) Very skinny pieces and Very shortsee picture ,Tasty, but you leave still Hungry for almost $20.00If that weren't the case , I'd have given a 4.5 StarBut , leaving hungry blew that
The food was okay. The service sucked. I felt kinda out of place there. I ordered two kids meal and they gave each 3 fries. They also didnt include the apple sauce or the juice box. He didn't put any napkins or fork on the bag and tie it up so tight I had to break it open. By the time I got to my car it was too late to tell them what was missing. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my food while other people were getting their food before they even reach their seat. I can't help but thinking it's because I look different. Probably won't be going back. What a waste of money and time.
*A Hidden Gem.So we decided to stop by here for Mother's day brunch. Delicious!!! Staff is Super Friendly and patient. Atmosphere is calm, peaceful and enjoyable. Food is delicious! So we stopped by again today. I had to have their Double Cheeseburger with their waffles fries. Not greasy at all. And did I forget to mention the prices are perfect !I Highly Recommend to come and eat here at this tranquil seating on the deck overlooking the lake.
I have not been to the Tin Fish downtown bit if the service, the food, surroundings and the staff is close to what I experienced at Santee Lakes location I will be impressed again.A walk-up fast casual type restaurant that does not detract from the overall quality. Sitting on the patio overlooking the lake having a delicious dinner was a great way to wind down for the day. We had the kaboom shrimp ( just the right amount of light spicy-ness, phenomenal) and the fish tacos with fries (also phenomenal). A little pricey but worth the money. We will be going back many times this summer.
Good for the most part, fresh fish, it would be nice if the fish and chips had a bit more fish, I feel like it was more fries that are good, but it kind of drowned out the fish.Relaxing scenery, just be prepared when you go to take natural repellent to wipe your table, when I put my plate on the table I had to keep the ants from crawling on my food.Other than that it was OK,.lol
Staff and location are superb! Our meal was 5/10 at best. Fries are the best. The Mahi taco was terrible. Chicken grilled Salad was very bland. Sandwich was dry. Really dissatisfied in the food.
Great family area ,weather was perfect, very clean eating area. Just too pricey that's the reason for four star.
Nice little place with lots of outdoor seating that is very spaced for all your covid concerns. Parking is not convenient as it was a maybe 250 yards from the stand. There is a walk up area to order and seating is around the corner from that. The stand had a pretty big variety of items on the menu and a good selection of beer and a few wines that could be ordered by the glass or bottle. You order and pick up your food at the counter. I tried to order online but they weren't accepting orders so to the counter I went. I ordered truffle fries, fried Brussel sprouts and a salmon burrito. The brussels were, eh. As most brussels are. The burrito was the best, delicious even, out of all of the items. I would probably just order regular fries next time and try some other items along with that grilled salmon burrito(you can have grilled or fried fish). There were lots of Grackles to keep you entertained. I would absolutely come back again. I guess parking would not have been as bad if I hadn't had to carry a square Styrofoam cooler with 20lbs of dry ice in it.

This place is great! Loved the customer service. I was so happy to see a vegetarian option. It was flavorful and delicious. The outdoor seating that overlooks the lake is peaceful and beautiful.
I absolutely love this place! The fish and chips have the perfect portion of fish.Outdoor dining on the lake is so peaceful.I highly recommend you try it!
The best place for family lunch in Santee start with the lake view it is very nice and relaxing, the food is great. Fish and ships is the best I ever had the fish is very fresh and not greasy, also we tried the burger and was excellent, the kids liked the fried shrimp, the cocktail sauce was amazing we eat it with the fish as well. Prices are very reasonable around $25 a person including the drinks ( they sale beer).
Great location with nice views of Santee lakes and fresh seafood. We had fish and chips and grilled fish mix and they both tasted great and were perfectly cooked.
Love Tin Fish and the folks working here are friendly. Location is great. Food is good. But there might be some operational issues here. It can take an hour to get your order. So don't go hungry or bring a snack.
