Be careful when eating here. I got some aguachiles and they were not cooked properly with the lime. Unfortunately I didnt notice right away and ended up getting food poisoning.

We love checking out different eateries sometimes great sometimes not so great, we didn’t know what to expect from Tsunami’s. After we took our first bite, my wife and I just about fell off our chairs!!! This place is amazing!!! We’re not from the area and it don’t matter we will make it a point to stop by Tsunamis every time we come to San Diego!! The staff were amazing the food was from out of this world!!! Shot out to Manny!! Great service very polite and informative!!! We even got two more of the GOAT rolls to take home!!! Very much recommended!!! Can’t wait to come back!!

I believe I have only done like 3 reviews of anything in my life, this restaurant deserve a 6 star ⭐️ review , food amazing and fresh ! I had the Baja Roll , the fish literally melts in your mouth, the octopus 🐙 cheese taco was absolutely delicious an explosion of flavors that didn’t overpower with each other 🤤. They also have very good beer selection. Congrats to the owner, manager and of course the cooks and staffs for giving Us your clients this kind of great food and service.

Probably the best sushi my husband and I have ever had. Very innovative with their menu and the flavors all go so well together. We got the G.O.A.T., El Jefe, and one other I can't remember the name (steak and truffles). All three were unbelievable. Will definitely be back!

The rice was so yummy. The wasabi was perfect. I got the Abalcore nigiri, veggie roll (so good!) and the spicy garlic edamame. The garlic edamame was a perfect portion amount for one person. I got a hotel sake (not the best) and a 16 oz Lagunitas. Service was okay. But not very inviting. The sushi chef was not very personable but his sushi was bomb! I'd come back!

Fish are not fresh. Overcharged for green tea with no refill. Miso soup is fishy,sound strange. Not authentic japanese foods....etc. Disappointed.
I tried this place out yesterday after discovering my usual poke bowl spot is closed on Sundays. I ordered a poke bowl with tuna and salmon, along with a seaweed salad. The bowl was on a bed of white rice and came with lettuce, mild chili oil, avocado, seaweed, and a couple different sauce. It was super filling and delicious! Next time I'll eat there and probably order the same thing, but to hold the spicy mayo. Staff were very nice. If you're inclined to do a workout after, Chuze Fitness is next door! 😁

Solid sushi in Santee! We ordered 6 different rolls, some were on the happy hour menu, and tried all 3 aguachiles and they were delicious! Highly recommend.
