Not sure what to think, except that maybe something there has changed, not for the better. Been to Dario's many times over the years and always thought their dishes were really good. This time (late-Septembrr 2025) was decidedly differemt. My to-go pasta dish was mostly pasta with a small amount of parmesan congealed on one side and a very spare dash of red sauce (marinara) on the other. Not enough sauce to do more than turn the pasta pink when it was mixed in, and the cheese a fused together glob. I live nearby and over the years this has always been a convenient place to grab a quick, delicious meal. Times are tough and businesses change, I know, and now I'm torn -- Was this a one-off, or their new normal?

This is a must when in Sausalito. It’s definitely the best pizza in town. My favorite is the Sausage and Mushroom but close second is the meatball sandwich and after tonight im a big fan of the Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs! It is outstanding! 5 Stars..

I had a wonderful experience here! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. The pizza was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The salad was crisp and refreshing, a great complement to the meal. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive throughout. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and a pleasant atmosphere!
Family vacation, 6 days into to California trip and this place has the best pizza and service that we’ve had to date. Had to order a second pizza. Would make it a must stop if in Sausalito area.
