I came here a few times, never had fish n chips cause im not much of a fan but once I tried it here I been ordering it everytime. Besides that specific order they have so many other options and all are good. A must go if youre visiting Sausalito.

There's really nothing that beats a hike in Marin followed by a fresh seafood lunch by the Sausalito pier at Fish. It's been around for many many years and is truly iconic.
The menu features a selection of seafood sandwiches, pasta, fish and chips, clam chowder, etc. They also have rotating seasonal specialties handwritten on the chalkboard and several options for fish-of-the-day (more like fishes-of-the-day).
The crab roll is my favorite! So much fresh crab, minimal butter and cream, a sprinkle of finely chopped chives--overall satisfying and not too heavy. It says it's on a Japanese milk bun but it seems like an Acme torpedo roll (toasted to absolute perfection). It's pricier compared to other options, but so worth it.
Other notes: - You get a choice of sides; I like the coleslaw. Veggies are fresh and it complements the seafood well. - Fish and chips is yummy, but the fried cod and French fries gets a little much. It's best to share and mix-and-match. - Clam chowder is available in white or red! The red version has more spices and potatoes. I recommend this since it's hard to find. - The grill may not be ready right at opening, which limits menu items. - Ample parking in the big lot by the pier. - Bathrooms outside around the corner. - Self-serve tap water with a refreshing lemon slice. - Much as it's tempting to grab a table with the best view, the restaurant kindly requests that people order prior to seating and not to hog tables. The patio is well designed with 2 tiers, so there isn't really a bad seat.

A little hike north of the ferry terminal in Sausilito but well worth it. Amazing passionfruit Ceviche. Fish and chips were super tasty and I found a nice key lime habenero sauce.

Absolutely amazing.... It was just my husband and I and we sat at table 3! It's like sitting at the front of the ship! They made me a beautiful dirty martini.... Then we had the best Calamari I have ever had. If it was frozen, which I doubt it was, the rest of the lazy chefs need to find their source! Just perfection! I then had the Pacific Sole with a buttery sauce and capers, fresh steamed green beans and mashed potatoes!!! The fish was heaven!!! So good! My husband had the beef braised ribs that are sourced from our home state of Idaho, at Snake River Farms! Their French styled sourdough bread is THE BEST of SAUSALITO! We can't wait to go back!!!

An old, historic restaurant that remains reliable in terms of excellent food, service and ambience. Having not been to the restaurant on over 20 years, It did not disappoint!! Beautiful day and views from the main dining room.
Oh my goodness, the food is over the top, great service. We ate outside in the deck and watched the world flowed by. Our take away was a sense of well-being and that we are living on the best planet ever.
