Just got the half chicken and Brussels sprouts. Wow what a lovely meal to share. Beautiful view and great flavor.

Generously sized impossible burger, and the grilled onions on burger were tasty. Omitting the special sauce and butter on the bun resulted in needing ketchup and mustard which was provided. Incredible view of houseboats and seagulls. Was too cold to sit outside the day I came, but many inside tables have a nice view so it wasn’t a problem. Casual ordering system at counter and they bring food out so easy to pick your favorite spot to sit. Pricey as another said but there’s a lot of staff helping out with getting napkins or cleaning your table so price felt justified. Nice beer menu since it’s a beer hall 🍻 Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15

Great find just out of the main part of town. Cozy, cool vibe with a view of the bay, yummy food and friendly staff. Definitely put it on your list.

The burgers at The Joinery are nice — fresh and tasty with good-quality meat. It’s worth stopping at The Joinery in Sausalito for a burger.

Unfortunately, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich for delivery and I had an allergic reaction to something after eating it, and immediately had stomach pains and vomited. I also broke out in a large rash on my face. Not sure if they used rancid butter or something, but I have never had that sort of reaction. This was a delivery. I suggest being cautious of what you order.

Food was great! Ordering experience was terrible.

Was waiting in line and the person taking orders was on the phone. Another person taking orders opened up, and pointed at the people behind us to help them before us. Hate to be petty, but it really did piss my entire family off. When you're hungry and have waited for 10+ minutes, you'd think the same.

Regardless, would probably go back at a slower time. Seating outside is incredibly limited at peak times. Also, ONLY paid parking. Add that to the bill.

The carrots I received were punny tiny. I usually like Joinery. I was expecting something more substantive, like the potatoes

This great little water front place hit the spot. I had the pulled pork tacos and they were exceptional. The nicest touch was the addition of the pickled jalapenos and vegetables, hard to find at most places. I highly recommend it.

Very busy, bustling, many dogs inside the restaurant, hard to have a conversation.
I like dogs, but it’s off putting when I’m eating (the smell, dander)

Fantastic casual dining spot in Sausalito, right on the water! You can dine in the spacious group dining room or outdoor on the patio along water - if dining outside, be aware that hungry pigeons are underfoot waiting for crumbs, but they’re not as aggressive as they are in other areas I’ve been to.

You pay for order and take a table with your order number, and they’ll deliver to your table.
The menu caters to a variety of tastes, including some great vegetarian options like the Burrata + Butternut Squash. The burrata was fresh and creamy, and the generous slice of country bread featured a crispy crust and warm tender crumb. If one of your dining companions gets the Fried Chicken Sandwich, ask for some of their arugula to go with your burrata - trust me, you’ll love it.

The milk shake was also generous with the ice cream - the paper straw it comes with will soften before you get through it!
