Food was not good at all. Overpriced - waiter forgot our food, others around us who showed up 45min+ after us got their appetizers & their entrees before us. We had to ask the waiter where our food was & he said “oh yes I'll be right back to check.” He didn't even place the order. All he kept asking was, “Want to order another drink?” It was VERY dark in the establishment, couldn't barely hear one another talk. The food was not reasonable for the price. We had Butternut Squash soup, citrus salad (beet/pear/apple ect) (from what I remember they didn't even put the pears in the salad. Risotto & Halibut dish. Butternut Squash soup was bland, salad was ‘okay' Risotto was NOT worth the $50 & the Halibut dish was with ‘breakfast' potatoes....it was unbelievably horrible. For Valentine's Day it was a huge disappointment for their “Special Menu”. Again, food was horrible - save your money (go to The Spinnaker). P.S I don't even write reviews yet this needed to be said.

The issue is space planning. Small intimate tables for two almost surrounding one large table for 6-7 persons were very loud. The noise overtook the space/area.

The food was excellent. The reason it is not five stars for me was that it was very cold inside. Hard to eat the minestrone with a winter coat on. I also wished there were tablecloths. I think with the prices, tablecloths would be reasonable. It is after all a very classy Italian menu, and I'm used to Osterias having cloths.

Delicious food made with exceptional ingredients & love, diverse menu including both perennial staples and seasonal specials, ambience that could be prohibition-era Manhattan just as easily as post-modern Sausalito, gorgeous patio for nice nights, live jazz, thoughtful wine selection, great cocktails, it’s on a fun side street that keeps out the tourists…what else do you need?

The pictures and the menu in the app looked fantastic, but I was very disappointed with this place. The food was not good. We ordered the burrata, the hen and the carbonara. Too much pepper in all the plates.

We had a table of ten dining outside on Halloween night. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy. Miguel, our server, was friendly and very efficient. Everyone loved their food and we are all planning to dine at Osteria Divino more often.

Made a reservation three weeks prior so I could come and listen to a friend who was performing there. When I arrived they gave me a table in the very back room. When I asked if I would be able to hear the music back there, he said yes, but he lied. The room was full and the acoustics such that we couldn't even hear each other talk, the ambient conversation was so loud. We then got up & reseated ourselves outside, which was preferable despite the occasional drizzle. They have plenty of tables outside, but no outdoor heaters. The food was good, but overpriced. I ordered an eggplant parmigiana , but the eggplant was a little undercooked. The wine selection was good, but again priced at between $15-22/glass. I was advised that I have to specifically ask for a particular table when I make a reservation or else it will be saved for their 'regulars', To add insult to injury when I got the bill, in addition to a space to tip my servers, there was an extra line for me to tip the band! On that evening the music consisted of piano & bass. Surely with the prices she charges and two large dining areas, they can afford to pay the band themselves.... don't you think? I mean their entrees range from $22-$38.

I made a reservation here to celebrate my boyfriend's 23rd birthday, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We started with the Piatto di Formaggi, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. For our mains, I had the Pesto alla Genovese Gnocchi while my boyfriend ordered the Toscana Lasagna. Both dishes were rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced—it was clear that a lot of care went into their preparation. One of the highlights of the evening was the live music. The band played from 7–10 p.m., and their performance added such a romantic and vibrant atmosphere to our dinner. We stayed until around 9, and it truly made the evening feel special—especially for a birthday celebration. The only drawback of the night was the service experience. While our bartender was attentive and kind, interactions with the host and a few other staff members felt curt and unhelpful, particularly when we asked simple questions like directions to the restroom. It didn't overshadow the evening, but it did stand out in contrast to the otherwise warm experience. Overall, this restaurant delivered an incredible night of delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and memorable live music. Despite the hiccup in service, I would absolutely return and recommend it to others, especially for a romantic or celebratory evening.
