deliciousness may be an understatement... the process of working with the owner was enjoyable and productive

I contacted Revelry Cakes to order a custom birthday cake for my fiancé, but unfortunately they were unavailable on the date I wanted. Even so, the owner (or whoever runs the communications) responded back to me with several other bakeries that might have been free to help with my order. I found that really kind and above-and-beyond with professionalism, so I just wanted to give them a great review for what they did. Thank you guys!

Kirstin's cake was delicious and she was so easy to work with when we were trying to figure out flavor, size, and style. My husband picked up a box for a tasting from her and we couldn't agree on a flavor - i loved the Meyer lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry compote and he loved the chocolate. We did both! Lemon-raspberry as our three tier cake & then a chocolate sheet cake. Best of both worlds for us as a couple and our guests. I'll include a photo of our cake; we absolutely loved it.

We did not end up getting a cake from Revelry due to the small size of our party, but we’re very touched with Kirsten’s recommendation of other local businesses that would fit our needs. This is the kind of rare customer service that I appreciate, and that is a definite indicator of the quality and professionalism I would have gotten.

Stunning, delicious and well executed. Delivered to Marin Country Club for a wedding. It was a pleasure to work with Kristin. She makes some interesting combinations of flavors beyond traditional cakes. Finally selected Meyers lemon cake with lemon curd, butter cream and blackberry violet touches between the three layers. Worth every penny, and I look forward to having another event so I can order another cake!

Revelry Cakes made the cake for our wedding in San Francisco. We couldn't be happier! The cake was delicious (white cake with Meyer lemon and raspberry), they were able to deliver at our desired time, and the price was reasonable. They were excited to work with us and we look forward to having another cake to celebrate our anniversary.

I got married in Mill Valley and needed a wedding cake after getting bullied into it by my family lolThis place was able to make a small cake for our micro ceremony. And it was delicious. It's so hard to find good flavor combinations, but they knocked it out of the park! What's more, they delivered it to us!For a cake I never even planned on getting, this was great. If I'm sorry, it's only that I had to pick one of their suggested flavors, and not all of them :)

The best wedding cake that we've ever had! For our wedding, we went with a Meyer lemon cake with lemon curd and raspberry compote. The cake was moist but with good structure and the fruit flavors were fresh and bright. We loved being able to customize our flavors and design. We ended up with a simply frosted three tier cake to cut with additional sheet cake to serve our guests. Kirstin was very easy to work with, able to accommodate our delivery window, and was reasonably priced. She also assisted in setting up the cake with flowers from our florist. We're looking forward to ordering a cake to celebrate our anniversary!

Chocolate croissant was crisper than that usually are. I really like it! Tasted homemade. Today was their first day open, so the menu was pretty limited. A couple pastries and cookies plus some good looking loaves of bread. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. I'll definitely be back.

I highly recommend Revelry Cakes. We asked Kirstin to make us a naked-style German chocolate cake that was less sweet than most cakes. After trying a sample, we hired her. She was responsive to our texts and emails and, on our wedding day, delivered a beautiful and great-tasting cake.

Kirstin made a beautiful and DELICIOUS chocolate and whipped cream cake for my husband's birthday. The entire transaction with Kirstin was pleasant and smooth. We spent the night at Cavallo Point and Kirstin delivered the cake so I could keep it a surprise. My husband was tickled with the cake and thought it was so good, he had seconds! It was a pleasure working with Kirstin and I highly recommend her for your cake needs!

I'm getting married in Sausalito in 8 months, and a good marriage requires a good cake. I found Revelry Cakes on Yelp while looking up local bakeries, and after many months of stalking this business page, I finally booked a cake tasting.CAKE TASTING! What a magical freaking concept. I don't have much experience in cake tastings, this being my first and, pending the success of my marriage, possibly last. I had no expectations going in, but I feel like this tasting really set the bar high. I'll break it down.Scheduling, Communication, Flexibility: 5 StarsKirstin runs Revelry Cakes, and she sent immediate responses from my first emailed communication with her months back. She made scheduling a cake walk (forgive me). The night before our tasting, my fiance's work schedule changed, so I emailed Kirstin in a panic asking if we could push back our appointment by a couple hours. Again, she replied immediately and made rescheduling a piece of cake (please, forgive me). An hour before our tasting, my fiance called to get the address and was able to reach her immediately. Responsiveness is a rare and beautiful thing where wedding planning is concerned, and I like knowing that I can easily reach her in case of a wedding emergency.Parking: 5 StarsThe parking situation may depend on the time of week and day. I showed up around 4:30pm on a Thursday, and there were several open spots on the street out front. Parking was also free, which is a pleasant surprise in Sausalito.Location & Atmosphere: 5 StarsIf this place hasn't been featured in a magazine somewhere, it should be. Gorgeously decorated interior straight out of Better Homes & Gardens? Check. Enormous windows with sweeping views of the Bay that will make you rethink what you've done with your life to land in a rented apartment instead of a place like this? Check. Cute little dog who looks like Albert Einstein if he were part Chihuahua? Check. Beautiful, handcrafted flowers and cake designs created by Kirstin that show she is the Michaelangelo of the cake world? Freaking check.Customer Service: 5 StarsKirstin is friendly, talented, and she made the occasion both comfortable and special.Cake Quality: 5 StarsWell, we booked her and won't be looking anywhere else, if that says anything. I knew we'd book her after the first bite. When you schedule the tasting, you get to choose 4 flavors to try. You can pick any of the flavors from the website or any custom flavors you think up. We chose vanilla Bourbon, vanilla blackberry, chocolate Manhattan, and a custom request: Waldorf Astoria's red cake. She put them in order from lightest to richest to preserve our palettes. The samples were gorgeous; they were baked, iced, and garnished perfectly. We especially loved the vanilla cake with blackberry compote (our wedding pick!) and the chocolate Manhattan. A quick word about flavor options. Kirstin created the chocolate Manhattan for a friend who liked Manhattans, and I've never had anything like it. The cake was rich, complex, fruity, a little boozy... I will definitely be buying that cake in the future. If that is what she can make just based on someone liking Manhattans, the sky is the limit for your custom flavor requests. I am kicking myself for requesting Waldorf Astoria's red cake instead of asking for... Idk... something that tastes like a Dirty Shirley... or a rainy night in Hawaii. If you schedule a tasting and request a custom flavor, don't be boring like me; be creative.Overall: 5 StarsKirstin made the entire process simple; this is the least work I've had to do for anything wedding-related. Scheduling, booking a date, working out delivery, working out the payment, deciding how the cake will look... everything was easy as pie (last one, I promise). I will post an updated review after the big day when we have professional photos of her work. So far, I can't recommend Revelry Cakes enough. In fact, I'm having cake sample leftovers for breakfast this morning. Go buy some cake; you deserve it.
