We had the regular cut of prime rib. Both cuts were generous and cooked correctly. The potatoes were just a bit salty. We arrived when it was not busy, but our server was a bit slow.
Nice views.
I feel this is a good place if you are in Sausalito and wanting either surf or turf.

Outstanding views, good food, reasonable prices. Try the crab enchiladas and the beignets!

Cioppino was a solid 8.5/10. Portions were generous, and the price super reasonable considering how good the quality is. Outdoor patio has heaters and overlooks Sausalito. Great sport for day drinking and over sized lunches that lead to skipping dinner.

Good service but very bad food and the worst thing is that he has super charisma. It wasn't worth it. I'm sorry for the good waiter because the food was bad.

The best seafood restaurant in the area. It's a must stop when I'm in town. Great food, great view, perfect for dining with friends, family, or even just by yourself. Everything tastes fresh, flavors are excellent, and its a pretty wide variety, especially if you like shellfish. And yes there are steak and other options as well.

I used to love this restaurant, but the service has taken a serious nosedive. I booked a reservation online for my anniversary lunch at 2pm for a party of three and specifically requested a table by the waterfront. When we arrived, there were more than three tables available by the water, yet the manager Jeremy Singer insisted they were all reserved and refused to seat us there. What made this even more frustrating was that there were other parties of two and three seated at those waterfront tables, which left me wondering why we couldn't have been accommodated.

While I understand that a waterfront table isn't guaranteed, it was disappointing that the restaurant wasn't busy at 2pm, and they still couldn't make it happen. The manager's rigid adherence to "rules" over common sense and customer satisfaction was a letdown. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant anymore if this is how they treat their customers.

I go to look at the menu on here, and there’s hardly anything on there. If I don’t see prices, they don’t see me!

Update on 9/2/24 worst experience ever

I’ve been going to this restaurant for what it seems it’s for ever.

Today Worst experience ever!!!!
So, we been coming to Salito's restaurant for over 35 years. My experience was one of the most horrible and uncomfortable experience. We got there around 3:45 pm on Monday to celebrate our anniversary and our waitress at first was a Hispanic gentleman who was very apologetic about being so busy which I appreciated the heads up. (No problem there) order our drinks and appetizers and came in on time and hot for the busy kitchen. Then, out of nowhere our waiter got charged to a laddie name Megan who did not keep up with our order and it took for ever to take our main dish order. Our glasses sat there empty until we ended our horrible experience. When she finally came back to take our order, like 15 min after she introduced herself. She placed the order and didn't see her for another 15-20 min and our order was not complete, our crab lasagna was so salty and swimming on butter that was hard to eat. I had the Alfredo pasta that I never seen an Alfredo pasta that the butter covered it to the top. I informed her of the conditions and reminded her of my order of bread that I had ordered with the pasta, when the bread came, it was cold as ice. I got so mad that I ask for my check. And 20 min later I got up towards the front and asked to pay for my meal. They told me you have to find your waitress. Waited about five min. no one was at the check-in desk so I waited. I got so mad I couldn't talk to anyone. I left, call the restaurant and the phone keep going to voicemail for the manager on duty. Later on I got a call from Sausalito PD asking me about details and to comeback and pay for my dinner. I did and when I got there I talked to the acting manager Jeremiah, (I believed) who apologized for screwing up my night. I also couldn't help to notice that his breath smelled so bad of weed I told him that was so unprofessional and didn't help the situation at all. He apologized again for that.

Get it together Salito's management.

Just like I posted a great review before about you place and got over 50,000 views, I'm sure this one will also is going to get a noticed.

Food here was excellent! Calamari fritti and crab cakes were delicious from the starters and mains were also great. Crab enchiladas were very tasty, but the basa fra diavolo was by far the best thing we tried. Fish was fresh, delicate and packed with awesome flavour. It was super popular and busy here around dinner time when we visited, so definitely try to get a reservation if you don't want to wait for a table. Parking lot filled up quickly around dinner, but there are plenty of lots surrounding the restaurant where you can leave your vehicle.
