Place was great for the touristy Sausalito scene. Wondered in after lunch at Poggio (which was great) and had a couple scones and a brownie. The charred classic Blodgett oven on the way to the restroom says it all. These guys are legit. We love Sausalito, didn’t mean to be negative but the bike across the bridge crowd can soil the vibe.

Stopped here for coffee and breakfast. It was early and this was one of the few places open in Sausalito. The bakery items available were freshly made and fabulous. And the coffee was about the best I have tasted. Service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend checking this place out if in Sausalito.

It was a busy place, the staff seemed overwhelmed, and just trying to get through the line. I felt hurried when ordering. I requested an omlette. It was an awkward conversation trying to inquire about what veggies could be added to it. I also said ham when I was asked which meat I wanted, and it had bacon instead. Same with the bread, I was offered white or sourdough. I said sourdough and got white. I ordered this meal to go so I didn't notice either until I had left the cafe.
It was prepped so fast, which is normally good, but the veggies were still crunchy, like they weren't cooked. It was still tasty, though. The fruit was good.

My order was egg and cheese croissant and i had coffee as well. Place is nice and cozy. Food is nice too.
The cashier added a 2$ tip on a 3.25$ coffee after i paid. Not cool.

Unfortunately, I was charged too much for apple strudels and when I informed the staff about it, they’d respond that the Cash Register was closed - definitely a response that i Consider everything but Customer oriented and in my opinion a no go.
Taste and quality of food were a bit disappointing overall, so not a pleasant visit. The chocolate chip cookie was very, very dry. If the store wishes to come up for the overcharged bill and disappointing experience and improve this rating, you may contact me!

I just enjoyed two delightful hot chocolates ☕️—they were excellent! But what truly stood out was the charm of the place itself—a beautiful bakery and café lovingly run by an elderly couple.☺️

We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two bagels with cream cheese and two coffee drinks. After taking payment, we were told cream cheese was unavailable and couldn’t serve the bagels. Instead of apologizing, the staff insisted the person who paid with the credit card had to be present for a refund. When I clarified we only ordered two coffees (not three), she refused to refund the extra charge. Ultimately, she issued a cash refund for the bagels instead of waiting for my husband. The lack of professionalism and courtesy made this a very frustrating experience.
