It was a busy place, the staff seemed overwhelmed, and just trying to get through the line. I felt hurried when ordering. I requested an omlette. It was an awkward conversation trying to inquire about what veggies could be added to it. I also said ham when I was asked which meat I wanted, and it had bacon instead. I just enjoyed two delightful hot chocolates ☕️—they were excellent! But what truly stood out was the charm of the place itself—a beautiful bakery and café lovingly run by an elderly couple.☺️
We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two bagels with cream cheese and two coffee drinks. After taking payment, we were told cream cheese was unavailable and couldn’t serve the bagels. Instead of apologizing, the staff insisted the person who paid with the credit card had to be present for a refund. When I clarified we only ordered two coffees (not three), she refused to refund the extra charge.
Ultimately, she issued a cash refund for the bagels instead...
