Well, there we were in Sausalito with nothing better to do than throw rocks at seagulls, and we only do that because the tourists get kind of scared when you bring out the shotguns. Then all the sudden Joe Basker beaned one right on the noggin, it had just grabbed a cheeseburger right from some midwesterner as he was about to take a bite. That cheeseburger landed on the sidewalk right near the sea lion statue and a homeless dude snatched it up fast. That seagull must have some headache cuss all he can do is swim in a tight circle. Old Joe then yells out something about winning a prize for the best shot of the day, and says I gotta buy him a Prawn Cocktail at Saylor's Restaurant & Bar! So, that's where we hid out. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Found by chance. Spartan but super welcoming environment, family and cheerful atmosphere without being annoying. Excellent food. Beyond all expectations. I recommend the red snapper and fried banana. Accompanied by an excellent margarita. Completely unexpected special evening. I would definitely stay here again if I didn't have to leave again!

To call this place “mid” would be a compliment. Chips were store bought and recycled. The salsa tasted weirdly like Prego. The beans and rice were the blandest I’ve had in since I can’t even remember when. I ordered the daily special of brisket tacos, which were the best thing we had, which isn’t saying much. DONT GO HERE! (Oh and the margaritas sucked)

We went in for the happy hour, my friend has a service dog because of a heart condition associated with her anxiety. The staff was extremely rude about this, even calling the owner. We told them we didn’t mind sitting in the patio to not cause a disturbance but he said he doesn’t believe anxiety is reason for a service dog. I tried to explain to him but he wouldn’t listen. Never been kicked out of a restaurant for having a service animal before. I have never met a more rude restaurant in my brief time being around a service dog. Anyone wanting to go, please be aware of this

We used reviews to choose this while traveling back from Muir Woods. It was fabulous! Food was delicious (chicken quesadilla and Mahi Mahi tacos). Service was great...in the bar area where we sat because we didn't have reservations on a Friday night...and we were able to walk right in. It was quite noisy in the bar, but the restaurant looked like the atmosphere would have been 5-star also.

The blackened salmon tacos changed my life. The second I took a bite I ascended to a higher plane of existence and met Jesus himself (I’m an atheist). Everything was perfect my life peaked at this moment and for the rest of puny existence I will be forever searching for an experience like this but alas will continue to come up short. If the Ricardo sees this I was the girl in the Pepsi cola shirt thank you for giving my life purpose
