Our anniversary dinner was wonderful. The service was excellent. There was a large rambunctious group next to us which created a lot of unnecessary noise. All other tables were keeping quiet conversations.
Excellent service. I was sorry you did not offer the Dungeones Crab that you do at the downtown restaurant. Increase the outdoor seating to the area on the bay like the Trident offers next door!
My annual trip to San Francisco always culminates with a celebratory dinner at Scoma. What a great meal with great service! The Ling Cod was perfect, the clams we prepared perfectly. Accompanied nicely with a French sauvignon blanc. Will be back next year. Can't wait!
Great, favorable food. Had a reservation and was hoping for a window table but no luck. I'd return to this local gem. I think one could share the entrees if you get appetizers. Good service.
My husband and I were visiting Sausalito for the night and dined at Scoma's. We arrived early so we decided to enjoy a drink at the bar. My husband had a Pilsner and I had a Cucumber Kiss as suggested by the bartender, Bobby. He was delightful and the drink was amazing! Thank you for the suggestion. We went into the dining room for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised by our little table for two tucked away in a corner with a bay view. Very romantic. Our server was Carmen. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had some raw oysters for an appetizer, and shared the branzino and lobster risotto entres. Everything was amazing and delicious. So glad we chose Scoma's for our one dinner in Sausalito!
A wonderful dinner! Food was delicious. Wonderful views. Service was nicely paced, helpful and personable. Would definitely recommend. Our best meal in Sausalito.
A great dining experience in Sausalito. Service was superb, servers are attentive. Food is freshest starting with the fried burrata and calamari. My party enjoyed the velvety short ribs, the decadent Dungeness crab spaghetti and I finished the Manila clams though Sauce was a bit too salty. But overall a very satisfying meal, along with the great view!
Mostly wonderful and a nice treat for our anniversary... although we were crammed into a corner table.
We had another absolutely wonderful dining experience at Scoma's of Sausalito, a place we eagerly visit about three times a year. The food was top-notch, prepared with incredibly fresh ingredients. My Mediterranean Grilled Branzino was cooked to perfection, and the Patrale Sole in Buerre Blanc was equally delicious. The cocktails, a Watermelon Margarita and an Elderberry Spritz, were refreshing and expertly made. Our server, Maria, was superb. She provided fantastic service, engaging in great conversation while ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Our table was checked on frequently, bread was replenished without us having to ask, and our water glasses were always topped off. In a thoughtful touch, the maitre d' even brought us an umbrella to provide some welcome shade from the sun. We always look forward to our visits here and can't recommend Scoma's enough for its consistently outstanding food and service.
Great setting and service. Food was great. Really enjoyed it. Bar before dinner was also very nice.

As long time Bay Area resident I was a bit worried that this institution may have lost its way, but I was wrong. It was a lovely evening and the food was fantastic.
We made a reservation way in advance so we got the best table in the place. Front and center on the water. The best view of the bridge imaginable. Often restaurants with great views have fair food.;not here. The best clam chowder ever. We all ordered seafood and each dish was done perfectly and everything was very fresh. This is a great place to take visitors and it is no more expensive than anywhere else. The service was also timely and the server very friendly.
The food was great. We really just stopped in for a snack. My wife and I shared the shrimp cocktail and the clam chowder, both were delicious. Service was a bit slow, but no big deal.
I have been coming to this restaurant since the 1980s, and it remains my favorite spot inn Sausalito. The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional. On my recent visit, our waitress Maria was very friendly and accommodating. We requested linguine with mussels instead of clams , and a smaller 8 oz pour of beer rather than the standard 15 oz- she graciously made both adjustments for us. It is that kind of thoughtful service that keeps me coming back year after year.
A wonderful dining experience for my bday! The view, service and food were the best we had on our vacation! Our server was the best! We had the lobster risotto and the pacific sole. Both were very fresh and simply delicious! Highly recommend! Be sure to request the front dining room for the best views!
