Sushi Ran always disappoints us and that is why every once in a while we give them another shot and again regret it, For such a high price food, the ambiance is so poor. The restaurant needs a lot of upgrades. I requested a table inside the main building as it was a special occasion for us, they still directed us to the patio. The host's attitude was the most negative part. The only positive was our server. He was amazing!

My boyfriend and I sat at their sushi counter and did their 13-course Omakase menu for my 40th birthday- Everything we had was truly incredible and so delicious + fresh! Stand outs were the blue fin tuna belly with caviar and the A5 Wagyu with black truffle. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for making the evening so special. :)

As always our experience at Sushi Ran was exemplary. The food is always wonderful, with new additions and old favorites on the menu. Unique among Japanese restaurant, the folks at Sushi Ran stay creative and at the top of their game. The raw fish is great, and the cooked food is delicious and delightful. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand in harmony in so much of the food. Service is attentive but un-intrusive. Quality is top notch in all respects. Sake menu is fabulous. We're always in awe, even after our umpteenth visit over 21 years.

Absolutely delicious and felt very special. Everything we ordered was so good. I was worried about the final bill, because we kept ordering and ordering all evening, but in the end, it came out to around $100 per person, including 2 of us had drinks, which is fair considering the quality and beauty of each dish. Super fresh sushi, creative bites, gorgeous presentation, friendly service that was attentive without being overbearing or pushy. Plus they brought out a birthday dessert for my son, which was a pleasant surprise (on the house!). We will be back. We had soooo many items, and of course never felt stuffed or gross- just content and happy!
