It's a nice small restaurant in a quite side street, where you can easily find free parking. :-) I think it's run by an elderly couple. The food was good, decent price but on the more expensive side. I had sushi, sashimi, rolls and a few other food items. Overall the food was satisfying. I enjoyed the quite atmosphere and the surrounding areas as well.

They genuinely have one of the most delicious katsu I've ever eaten! I happened upon them by accident on DoorDash and have since eaten from them a few more times. I wasn't too crazy about their miso but everything else I've tried has been pretty good!

just finished a dinner for 4 , and unfortunately have to say it is probadly the worst Japanese food experience I have had living in the Bay Area since 1972( and Japanese food is my favorite) Fish in both the sushi and Maki did not seem fresh Sashimi that another guest had looked unedible Sake was underwhelming for its price , gyozas we're tiny, and the mochis were tasteless The service was uneven as there was one hardworking server for the relatively small dining area I never post, but this was a very disappointing dining experience and not cheap

Did not like any part of the meal. Overcooked and not fresh fish, soggy veggies, and watery miso you can't taste. Portions were also MUCH smaller than advertised on website.

I ordered online at 7:00pm, food supposed to be ready at 7:20 (which seemed suspiciously quick, not restaurants fault) I arrived at 7:25 expecting to wait for 10-15 minutes bc you never know if the apps communicate with the restaurants efficiently. I waited in there for 40 minutes before food was ready. Only 3 tables in there- one of the tables walked in, sat down, ordered, got their food in the time I was waiting. It's understandable things take time, even sometimes when a place doesn't look busy, but this was over the top and had the person helping me been polite or had a nice personality, it could've just been fine, but they did not have a kind personality and just made it worse.
