Good food service was so so. But restaurant felt run down and dirty. We sat outside and the patio needs a wash down every day or two. Full of cobwebs.

Dining on the patio was fantastic with wonderful views of the city and bay and a peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed the halibut special with delicious elote-inspired corn, fish and chips, and burst cherry tomato pasta with grilled prawns. Food was well-portioned and our Napa Valley wine and desserts were the perfect compliment. Don't forget to ask for the bread! We would gladly eat here again!

Great food, excellent service and a real beautiful ambiance overlooking the nice San Francisco and the Bay.

While the host was very pleasant, our waiter was surprisingly negative, inattentive, and behaved as if he did not want to be there. I observed the “other” wait staff was positive, smiling, and engaging. Would have been 5 stars overall, if not for our one star waiter. Advice, if you get a grey haired gentleman wearing a mask, kindly ask for a different waiter.

Absolutely beautiful views! It had been almost a year since seeing the ocean and it never disappoints. The restaurant has the most stunning location, fantastic food and the ambiance is like no other. Loved my day here, thank you!

We had a lovely time seated outside as the sailboats drifted by. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff. The salads we ordered were large portions and delicious. My mojito could have been better. All in all it was a very nice experience.

Loved the Trident back when and had lunch at the new reopened site. Everything was ok but the place has an old tired kind of vibe, one great thing are the views and optional choice of dining outside on the water...we stayed inside at a window table, unfortunately the huge windows are really dirty. The cocktails were just ok and a bit watery, the food was pretty good, I would go back for the shrimp poorboy sandwich with great crispy French fries it was filled with huge delicious fried shrimp. Calamari and fresh fish were nice too! One hour validated parking on site....

Drove from Sacramento for my fiancée's birthday after she saw the restaurant on social media and loved the view. We were seated right away with a beautiful view of the bay. Service started promptly with water and drink orders. She got the Trident Sunrise, which was harsh until stirred, then improved. I had the Unsinkable Sea Lion, but it tasted like straight alcohol with no balance of flavors. We started with the baked oysters, which were tasty but would've been better served hotter. The bread and cheese complemented them nicely. For mains, I had the halibut, which looked good but was very bland—I had to use salt and pepper, which I rarely do at restaurants. Her scallops were much better, with a perfect sear and flavorful risotto. The chipotle crema added a nice smoky touch. For dessert, I had the cheesecake—great texture and well-balanced with the berry compote. Her crème brûlée was good, though the sugar crust could've been thicker. One bite tasted a bit eggy, but the rest was fine. Overall, while the views were great, the food and drink didn't justify the price. We left feeling underwhelmed by the flavor value and quality.

We enjoyed our meals. My husband had the cioppino and really liked it and I had the Seafood Combo Louie and it was very good. Our server was Arnulfo and he was very nice. We will come back.

Great views of SF and the Bay! Heat lamps are effective when the ocean breeze kicks up. They were out of the clam chowder so my husband was rather disappointed. But he made due with the Captain's Platter instead!

While we were there, the power went out. They asked to write down our credit card information so they could charge us later. We weren't comfortable with this so we cobbled together enough cash to cover our appetizers and round of drinks. We didn't get to order dinner. Too bad.

Fabulous experience! Our server gave us excellent customer service, taking great care of our food allergies. Lots of gluten free options. Also, you can't beat the gorgeous views!

Terrible customer service. Never received waters we ordered. When we were finished eating, with napkins on our plates, Server walked by looked at our table by multiple times, never checking in. Had to ask multiple times for our check, and then had to bring check to host desk to pay as our server disappered . Food was over priced for what we received. Terribly cooked steak, and terrible truffle fries. Will not return.

The service was downright awful. We arrived early for a drink in the lounge but were never served, even after alerting the hostess who seated us. I had to get drinks for our whole table directly from the bartender, who was not particularly friendly and didn't offer to help bring the drinks to our table. Our waiter at dinner introduced himself by simply saying “What do you want?” Not in a old-timey fun way but in a weird creepy unfriendly way. The bad service was noticed by everybody in our party and cast a negative energy for the whole evening. The food was decent but the experience was ruined by the poor service.
