The staff here are very welcoming and they have a large selection of foods.
Great place to go . Come hungry since it’s all you can eat ! Wide variety of options !
service is good, great food
Arrived at a 6 PM Sunday rush hour. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Place was packed. Buffet handled the crowds well enough. Yes it is quantity more than quality. Some lined up and waited for the king crab at the cooked side. I was happy with the sushi buffet. Seems like there were less desserts at this venue. We had been to the Concord location. By 6:30 the crowd had dispersed and it seemed like customers avoided any waiting. We had a last minute decision as we were driving through San Jose. Wouldn't call this a destination place, but the Tomi we went to in Concord had closed down last year so we used this opportunity in SJ.
Tomi Buffet used to be really excellent but sadly the quality of food and service had taken a downturn for the worse. Food was plentiful but the quality is definitely not up to acceptable standard. The wait staff was grumpy and request for water refill was not attended to promptly and had to reminded on several occasion. Definitely not worth the money spent and won't recommend it to anyone who want quality food
This Buffett has such a large variety of choices that the odds are high that ones favorite Japanese and Chinese dishes will be found. We eat here at least once a month, driving 180 miles round trip for the sole purpose of dining here. We believe it to be the best Buffett anywhere. Weekends and holidays are the busiest and prices are highest. The extra money is worth a greater abundance of delicious choices. While weekdays do not have the same offerings, we are still able to find enough favorites to make the trip worthwhile.
Came here for dinner night before Mother’s Day to avoid the crowd on Mother’s Day. Waited 45 minutes to get in. No plates and utensils ready, have to wait again for plates that is still wet and not properly washed because there are some food particles. Long line to get the food. Trays were not refilled right away. Server did not came back to refill our drinks. Disaster for a Mother’s Day celebration. Very disappointing.
Awesome range of food from the variety of sushi to the hot Chinese options and roast meats. Delicious desserts and decent salads we would highly recommend this sushi buffet for the price! Take note of the 2:30pm close tone and get in early to start eating!
No waiting in line when we arrived before noon; high foot traffic right around noon though. For $21.99 you will get a great selection of sushi dishes, dim sum, Chinese dishes, crab legs, shrimps, escargots, chicken, ducks and variety of desserts including mangoes, green tea, strawberries and chocolate ice cream. You get a free birthday lunch with 2 paying adults. Birthday ID check is required and you must announce to the hostess before eating. There is a charge for hot tea. Arrive few hours before closing time because they stop cooking an hour before closing. Free mall parking.
Went here for my birthday. I haven’t been here since it was todai so it’s been a minute. For $20 for lunch it’s not bad for all you can eat sushi. They sat us in a section that we found out later was closed so his wasted 10 minutes. So after being re-seated got to try the food. Too much mayonnaise mixed in the crab mix for the rolls so not as good as I hoped. This place is quick to get you out by the end of lunchtime not really let you enjoy the meal. Probably my last time going here as there’s better options for the price.

I was expecting much more for a lunch buffet of $19.99 and an add on of $2.45 for soda. There was no oyster, crab or sashimi. I guess they serve that at dinner. Dessert was basically ice cream and a handful of pastries, very limited. The only thing that stood out for me was the sesame balls and after two hours they ran out, that was truly disappointing. Our drink server was not the friendliest. The others have mastered the art of not looking at guests so it was really hard to get service in drink refills. They say the place gets really busy on weekends, we went on a Friday and we were alright. It was good to try but we won't be back.
