Travis Marina Bar is located on Horseshoe Bay in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It in has live music weekends. There's a dance floor and a full bar with friendly bartenders. The views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Horseshoe Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view of the bridge from here .. and as well one of the best views of Alcatraz and the city of San Francisco! Can be breezy so have a warm layer handy.There is a bar at the wooden building (ssh don't tell anyone!)
Great spot to just chill. Go for a leisurely walk along the water, grab a beer at the marina bar, or explore the battery just above. When the weather is nice, it's one of the best places to view the Golden Gate.
