The food did not live up to the previous 5 star review expectations or warm service. The burger, for instance, was served on sandwich bread with what looked like store bought chips and side salad. It is also not priced as such. Our immediate reaction to the meal was “felt like camp food”. Has potential if the food improves.

Shindig! is keeping the flame lit for all of us. My burger was great. Open mic night was full of fun music. Had a delicious new wine from an unheard of grape in California that was totally exciting. Huzzah!

After our hike we got hungry and found Shindig! I highly recommend the grilled cheese. It was nice to split because it was very rich. I also appreciate the complementary bread and butter.
Wish I had brought a card deck to play some games! It was a great atmosphere to sit back and relax.

Friday night music is magic. It's like if you took 1000 small towns and filtered them into a concentration of small town goodness and then stretched it out into a building.

Small local spot with live music. The wine and food are good and the people there are great

Food here was unfortunately very disappointing. We ordered a soup that seemed to have dirt in it, a burger that was raw in the middle and a quinoa salad that was really just three spoonfuls of bland quinoa on a plate. I would not go back.

We didnt know what to expect, as we walked in, a movie showing for a wine maker was just starting and we are not wine drinking folk. We watched the 1:20 movie and it showed that the owners are very intentional. The items offered on the menu suit a small kitchen that is sourcing good ingredients. Warm sausage plate and a perfectly cooked lamb loin chop special (as the only seasonally available entre item) were abeautifully cooked medium rare. Locally produced beers were also available, and delicious.
The douglas fir tea, Melinda + Karl…what a warm and welcoming space.
This was a super cute local spot for food and relaxing. The atmosphere was homey and the people were friendly. The food was excellent, and I would definitely visit again!

Nice spot and one of the only commercial establishments in sea ranch. I believe they are open fridays and saturdays and then do pop-ups (eg when we were there they were doing a dim sum pop up on Sunday). The wines are pretty aggressively natural. We liked the whoopie pies a lot, definitely more than the coco fudge and the cookies. They have some nice outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Overall pleasant atmosphere and we’d go back again.
Kid-friendliness: Our kid was fascinated with the fountain they have at the front door. If the weather accommodates being outdoors there is space to roam.
