Traveling by motorcycle today with my wife, I needed to pull off Rte 96 to take some meds. We pulled into the lot in front of the building, was warmly greeted by a woman checking to make sure we were OK. Explained why we were stopped, she immediately offered their porch to cool off in the shade if we needed it. The level of care, concern, etc. expressed was greatly appreciated and unfortunately rare in this day and age.
Rachel was super friendly and accommodating. Great place to stop while hiking the PCT. Having a shower and the ability to do laundry was fantastic. Cold beer on tap was refreshing.
New owners and renovated. Great place to stop by if you're hiking the Siskiyou Peaks Trail or Pacific Crest Trail. Good food, campground, showers, and laundry. Short walk to the General Store and Post Office.
