Brunch was awesome! Definitely recommend dropping by here ??
I was visiting Selma, CA for work and looked for a place to sit down for lunch. Thee was a giant “Back the badge” sign hung in the wall right next to “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone sign. It’s very clear they don’t want to everyone eating there food. I left when I saw it.
Punjabi Naan Indian Punjabi style food.
Simply The BEST!!! Chicken & Waffles were sooooo GOOD and I’m willing to drive an extra 25 miles to eat this good food!!! Super chill atmosphere, food came out hot and fresh and all together totally worth it!!!
Very tasty. Get the kabobs they’re to die for.I will say though they could use longer straws they disappear into your drink.
Unfortunately did not have a good brunch here., me and wife were really excited to try it out and give it a try… chorizo was really oily excessively.. breakfast burrito was really oily as well.. did not have that restaurant quality to it.. wish we would have enjoyed it.
Very good food, come for breakfast or lunch. Chicken bowl... Very good. Here is the updated menu .
We found this delightful place when our regular Saturday breakfast spot was closed (yet again), and Max's will be our new go-to! The food was delicious (biscuits and gravy, hotcakes, hash browns, and eggs several styles), and the service courteous and attentive. This is a hidden gem in Selma, CA! >^..^<
Good food. Quiet. Locally operated.

Food is good but they didn't have salsa for our meal. You know us Mexicans love hot homemade salsa on everything. Awesome service, we will definitely be going back.
Got breakfast for my grandpa this morning. Ordered a biscuit and gravy breakfast it comes with eggs and potatoes. I was told meat was an extra price which I really didn't care at the time. This order came out to around 17 dollars. When I got home about 5 minutes later and served my grandpa I was saddened to see he couldn't cut through the biscuit. It was incredibly hard like it was sitting out for some time. Will not be stopping in again. ? Sad case, I really wanted to like Max's Brunch house.
Great place to eat. Friendly service wish my town had a place like it.
Came in after visiting the antique store next door, thought I would try a new place. Small, quaint inside, so I chose to sit in the corner by the window. The place wasn't crowded, yet it took forever to get any assistance, longer to place my order. Anyways, when I questioned the menu, my server said..." toast does no come with the omelet, that's extra". I replied, "anywhere else, toast is included with meal", so I ordered rye toast, and specifically asked my omelet to be "Well done". When the food was served, I noticed that the omelet wasn't as requested. Rather than complain, I ate my meal and figured that I would comment later. By the way, I wasn't charged for toast. Does that mean...its included? Make it clear on the menu, or at least tell your servers. Lastly, when the diner is slow, have someone clean the window sills of the hundreds of gnats that are covering the window ledges. Sure would hate to find them in my food!
This place has excellent food and service, the cook Fermine is very good at what he does
