Went in with my family to eat after church in aug 2025 around 1pm. Ordered a burger kids Mickey Mouse, pancake meal, and the chicken fried steak meal my husband‘s burger look burn and dry his french fries look cooked all the way, but had a cold freezer taste on the inside. Tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed I’ve worked in restaurant know that taste all to well. My chicken fried steak had too much gravy on it The eggs were burned on mine and my kids plate and the country potatoes were burning on the outside, but freezer tasting and bitter on the inside. I’ve gone to McCoys sense before it was McCoys and being pregnant I was craving this place and was disappointed in the food the servers were talking about gross things one even gaged while people are eating. I will say this is the second the food wasn’t so good idk If the cookie is new or burned out. The water tastes dirty and the soda was kinda flat. I’m sad we love this place don’t want to see the quality fall.

We’ve visited a couple of times now, and this place continues to impress. I was initially skeptical about ordering a steak for breakfast, but the ribeye really won me over. I usually stick to sirloin, but the 12oz ribeye was a perfect choice! Tender, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium-rare—just the way I like it. While I usually enjoy a bit more seasoning, the overall flavor was still great.

The sides were excellent as well. The potatoes with onions were perfectly crispy, the biscuits and gravy were rich and flavorful, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Hashbrowns and coffee were spot on too. They really put thought into every part of the meal, even down to the wide variety of condiments, syrups, and flavored creamers on the tables.

The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. It’s definitely worth the drive from Clovis to Selma. Great food, great service, and always a satisfying meal!

Chicken fried steak was a premade breaded piece of meat. Not real exciting.
The french dip was an over microwaved cross between a philly cheese steak and a french dip.
