Karls burrito is still King, even at $22 it's enough food for 2 people or if you are a hungry hombre you can take it down. Chips and salsa are amazing and they are very generous with the salsa.

The food is always delicious. The recipes and flavors are reminiscent of my mother's cooking. A lot of places say they serve authentic food and it falls short. Sal's always dishes up the real thing.

This place has been here a long time. And there's a reason for that. It's in a older ( Westside of freeway ) neighborhood of Selma.Ca. The food is very good. They bring you tortilla chips with the best red salsa before you order. The atmosphere is okay. Lots of tables that are normally filled with happy people. Enjoying there meals. If you haven't tried it here. Try it ! I think if you do you'll be back. :)

My husband has been coming here for decades, he brought me in a couple years back. Every trip through the valley we stop in, and the service and food is always impeccable. The fancy burrito is a household favorite along with the Chile Verde plate. I recommend it to all my friends and family in the valley or traveling through. It is worth the 8 hour drive for us!

If you’re all about authentic Mexican food, you must stop by Sal’s! The food was delicious, fresh, and the portions are huge. The service was excellent, fast and friendly, and our meals arrived quickly and piping hot. Can’t wait to go back!

Ordered several party platters, one in particular was the mixed appetizers. They come with 4 types of appetizers but heads up the chimichangas don’t come with meat like traditional ones they come with beans only. This wasn’t described anywhere on the menu. After a call the next day to ask why, we were offered a partial refund in the form of a gift card. Didn’t receive so called again the next week, I was told that they’d check with their business office and get that out. Another few weeks later still no gift card.
I called again and was told to call later to speak with the first person I talked to.
My one star is mainly do to the hassle of calling and recalling. I already was inconvenienced, disappointed, and was not pleased with most of that tray. The regular burritos were soggy and there were very few taquitos so we actually ended up throwing away 75% of the tray.
I think good business is you say your going to do something you do it. Take care of a customer and you keep a customer.
I wasn’t going to write a review but at this point I’m extremely not satisfied with service as well as the food.

I would recommend not getting the margaritas. They’re very small and very expensive.

Best wet chile verde burrito out there. Period. Certainly one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area as well!

We went here for Father's Day Lunch, and we were not disappointed. The entire wait staff is amazing. They all help one another, your drinks don't run dry, the chips are fresh, salsa is very good, and the food is as Delicious as I remember when I was a teenager many moons ago!
I will definitely come back when I come to Cali to visit family.

Always crowded but worth the wait!
