What a fun and relaxing party at Ridgetop Cellars. The Shasta Lake Chamber of Commerce had a holiday mixer here and I enjoyed trying Ridgetops Cellars wine, grown and produced in Whitmore, CA, Shasta County.

We went there on Saturday about noon and we had the most amazing time! We were given many different tastings of the great variety of wine he makes! They're incredible with the different flavors. I personally am not a wine expert at all. However, I've never experienced the way each one had its own unique flavors and where in my mouth I would feel it. Amazing! The owner was so friendly and easy going. We had a great conversation for about 1-2 hours learning about wine and their small family ran winery. He's put a lot of love and care into making these wines for us to enjoy. I definitely recommend you heading to Shasta Lake City and experience it for yourself.Today we went to Ridgetop Cellars and had a tasting - fantastic! The atmosphere is so comfortable. We spent a few hours again and discussed some cool events happening there. Today was a Christmas Market with Vendors. Tomorrow is pictures with the Grinch and hot cocoa ?. Monthly they have "Paint by the Bottle" workshops and Yoga. They are available to host other events - just contact them on Facebook. We certainly enjoy being there and highly recommend going.

Stopped by one Sunday afternoon to check out Shasta Lake’s new winery. The wine maker was working the bar and doing tastings. He is friendly and outgoing. The wines are excellent. I have company and will be taking them for a tasting.

Ridgetop Cellars is a lovely new wine tasting room in Shasta Lake, a great addition to its downtown area that's trying to revitalize. They do wine tastings, glasses, and sell bottles, all of their own wines made in Whitmore.The space seems newly remodeled, warm and welcoming with different seating areas of different styles, and Jay, the owner, is friendly and communicative. Overall a pleasant experience.
