Shaver Lake Lodge at The Point

Atmosphere - Views are great; but, while eating our large table umbrella suddenly launched into the air and landed on the people beside us - fortunately no one was hurt. Food was below average - Sirloin Steak and Herb Chicken were both overcooked/dry and lacked flavor. Veggies also overcooked and had "boxed" mashed potatoes. Service was good; but, very overpriced. Several better places to eat in the area. Will not go back.

Quality place. Wish I had gotten the lovely woman's name so I could mention her here directly.

Food was expensive but the portions were large. We had a great friendly waitress. The view was wonderful.

Vegetarian options: My son is a vegetarian and was happy with his choices.

Parking: Off-street parking and handicap parking available

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp and plenty of room for move ability.

Really nice seating on the deck and lots of windows for indoor dining. The parking lot is very small but within easy walking distance of cabins in the area. The food was just OK, not that great. There are better and less expensive alternatives within a 10-minute drive.

Closed for renovations - not open, like Google suggests

Food was way over priced I understand inflation or food was cold two adults one kid 108 bucks

This place is awesome. The waitresses are nice and the beers are good. Also the drinks are mixed to perfection. The live band just made this a perfect night out.

New owners “getting it done”- great view, great food - local craft beef (559)- restaurant now goes by 559.beer at shaver point. Will be back!

Wait staff are very pleasant, prompt. Nice views of Shaver Lake, surrounding forest. Blue Cheese Bacon HB is excellent, restaurant made 'Chips' come wFlavorful sauce. Nice day trip.

I have been twice, the first time was the service was bad. There seemed to be alot of confusion about where we were to sit. The Beer seemed to have some off flavors like it was not quite finished like a home brewed beer.. soooooo we stop again this trip to see if they have got things together.. Hmmm NOT!! We walk up no customers in waiting area, two tables inside had guests, an the patio was half full. There are 2 of us and we asked to sit on patio on this beautiful day.... the hostess tells us Sorry the patio is for large groups only of 4 or more people... if they were packed I might have understood but as you can see by my picture not full on patio and no one waiting and almost empty inside..needless to say we went and spent our money on beer and food at the Pub and Grub and the service was outstanding... Great views is all this place has going for it. If you can turn $$customers away in the restaurant business you have No business running one!!
