I recently visited Shorthorn and had a great experience! The employees — Rickey, Steve, and Dee Dee — were incredibly professional and welcoming. Their service really made the visit memorable, and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy their company again. Highly recommend this spot!
Cool little hole in the wall bar with decent food. The beers on draft tasted expired. Drinks were light. Once more than 8 people are inside, it's hard to move about. Cool decorations with band posters.

Place was not welcoming and the food was undercooked. Waste of money and highly wouldn’t recommend when traveling.

Burger was delicious and the beer was cold, nice way to conclude a day up on the mountain

Burgers were excellent.
Little hole in the wall bar in Shaver with a very personalized service for drinks and food. I must say the best burger in town . You won't be disappointed other then you have to wait during the weekdays until noon to get in but try the Short horn burger with home made fries and a coke you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here for a drink and snack after a day at the lake. Admittedly we only ordered some sweet potato fries to share, but let me tell you they were THE BEST sweet potato fries I've ever had. Hot from the fryer, crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, well seasoned and with yummy dips. Our friends at a different table got burgers which looked fantastic.
It's a tiny little place with two little tables indoors, a bar, a pool table, and pellet stove, with a little outdoor patio in the back with some more seating.
The server was friendly and service was fast.

Customer Service was pretty bad, felt a bit racy, for locals, which is fine, but no reason to treat other people badly. Also, no puppers allowed even on the patio.

Didn't try the food but the service was great really engaging bartender and the pool table area is a little cramped but it wasn't a deal breaker. Must visit!
