This is my favorite little bar in Shaver Lake. Best burger and Philly Cheesesteak in the town of Shaver. Great beer and wine selection. Small bar, super cozy and friendly. The locals are entertaining and welcoming. Best part is the bartenders, Dee Dee, Chantelle, Ricky, and occasional appearance of Tom or Quinn. Love this place!Oh and don't forget to try the deep fried artichoke hearts or the mushrooms. YUMMY!

I adore Shaver, the Shorthorn and the vibe the area gives. I am always impressed when I go into the Shorthorn and Ricky is behind the bar, making all the crazy happen. The most amazing and talented chef is back in that kitchen. Because, hands down, best burger in town!

Love this bar. It's small and cozy and friendly. Deedee and Quinn were great and so we're the chicken strips (so good that we had two portions). There's a jukebox and a pool table.

I LOVE Shorthorn so much. It was such a welcome escape for the day when living down in Fresno. The staff are so friendly and I kid you not, they have the best BLT I’ve ever tasted. There is a good selection of beers too. Nothing beats sitting out back on a nice day with a few beers then popping inside for a game of pool. Thank you Shorthorn for brightening my days each and every time I visited ❤️
