Cielo Estate Winery, Event & Wedding Venue - The Closest Winery and Wedding Venue to Sacramento

I just had the best tasting experience at this winery. The tasting manager, Sean, is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. I learned so much about myself and my tastes that I’ve never been able to put my finger on and now have the words to describe. I’ve never been sold on wine memberships before, but couldn’t help but sign up here. Wonderful experience! Their membership is totally reasonable, too. Such a fun day!

The service was an excellent, the wine is good quality, employees are very friendly, courteous, professional.
The bathrooms are clean and the winery is clean well organized.

First time here, when I entered one of the old guy behaviored unmindfully to me, He asked for my ID, which is a usual request, but then he stated that I looked younger than my actual age..., kinda rose up my sense of what he wants to impressed onto me.

Gladlly, another guy behaviored somehow differently than the first guy, which made me stayed there for a while and took a glass of wine.

We had a fantastic experience celebrating a 60th birthday at Cielo Estate Winery in June. Sean and Caroline went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—like we were part of the Cielo family. Sean helped us select wine that paired well with our food. The setting was ideal for our small gathering: intimate, charming, and full of character. The view is beautiful! The wine was delicious, and the overall vibe made for a truly memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!

Cielo is a wonderful local winery. The setting is beautiful. Sean goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and is exceptionally knowledgeable. We absolutely love spending time here, and will continue to come back as often as we can.

Great wines

6 of us went wine tasting yesterday! What an amazing experience!!!! Shawn made it extra special with the different wines and cheeses/chocolates he selected for us. Beautiful venue, excellent wines. We will definitely go back!!

My wife and I have been wine club members at Cielo since 2020. We always enjoy our visits. Very nice family friendly environment that accommodates our young kids and dog as well. We love the wine and we also love supporting a fantastic local business. We’re usually taken care of by Sean who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about wine and many other things. Highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVE coming to Cielo. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, the wines are always delicious (you must try the sparkling peach) both red & white wines, and the grounds are a little slice of heaven! We love bringing our kids and our dog for family fun as well.

We had our wedding at Cielo Winery, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The venue offered great value, and the wine was fantastic —our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The grounds are beautiful, with scenic views that made for stunning photos. We also want to give a special thanks to Steve, the venue’s coordinator, who made sure everything went smoothly, even with the unseasonably hot weather. The team was incredibly prepared and ensured our day was perfect. Highly recommend Cielo Winery for any special event!”

I am sticking close to home and like a blind squirrel that finds a nut we found a hidden gem. Credit to the DH this time. They have a beautiful estate ( baby deer were eating roadside as we entered the estate) it is a peaceful place with the sounds of birds and a slight breeze...perfect for a tasting and some charcuterie. They also have picnic tables for a picnic. I will be back to try some more of their wines. I like the 2019 Grenache and the 2020 Cubes. My husband enjoyed the 2019 Zin.
