I had a 7:30 reservation and arrived at 7:00. I let the hostess know we were early and still waiting for the rest of our party. She said our table would be ready and told us to check back in a bit. We returned around 7:15, and that’s when things started to fall apart. She told us our table still wasn’t ready but suggested we take a seat at the bar in the meantime. I looked around and noticed at least four or five empty tables. When I asked why we couldn’t be seated at one of them, she explained that we had a specific table assigned. That already felt odd, but it got worse. A few minutes later, she returned and said the party at "our table" had just ordered their food and it could be another 20 to 40 minutes before we could sit. At this point, it was already 7:20, just ten minutes before our actual reservation time. She told us again we were welcome to eat at the bar. I politely pointed to the open table directly across from us and asked why we couldn’t just sit there. She said someone had reserved that one for 7:45. I asked why we couldn’t swap, let that guest have our table when it opened, and seat us at the available one. Her answer was simple: they don’t do that. We were told our options were to either eat at the bar or leave. So we left. In all my years of dining out, I have never had a restaurant turn away a party with a valid reservation when there were open tables clearly available. This was the most rigid and customer-unfriendly seating policy I’ve ever experienced. No flexibility. No effort to find a solution. Just a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. I had high hopes for the ambiance, but honestly, it looked more like a makeshift wine bar with fake vines on the ceiling than anything close to an enchanted forest. It felt cramped, not magical. The menu looked fine, but I wasn’t about to spend $60 to eat short ribs at a bar after being treated like an inconvenience. We didn’t stay, and I won’t be going back. If you're expecting a unique experience or thoughtful hospitality, I would look elsewhere. This was all style, no substance, and a complete failure in customer service.

What an experience

What a lovely dining experience ! This unique and special themed restaurant is a perfect place for a special occasion or fun time with the family. The food was delicious and the drinks were festively named and delightful. The staff were dressed in theme appropriate clothes, were very friendly and helpful. We celebrated a dear friend's birthday and had a fantastic time ?. Highly recommended. We will be back ??

The name of the establishment says it: "Enchanted" !! The staff was dressed to reflect the atmosphere: fairy lights, attire, elfin ears, and hats. The decor of twinkling lights, leafy overhangs, and lovely tv scenes augmented the experience as well. We were handed Fairy Light wreaths to wear on our heads, and even my husband wore them when he saw other guys wearing theirs. And the food! Their Best Bite in Town accolades are well deserved. We shared a fondue for two and a Miner's Gold pasty, both delicious. The pasty was simply, flat-out outstanding!! The Blackberry Key Lime pie and Creamy Cheesecake were wonderful, too—though we took those to-go since we were full from dinner. And when they found out it was our anniversary, it was celebration time.

Absolutely magical experience. This is our 2nd time here. My daughter absolutely loves it. There was some confusion regarding our reservation when we checked in which the manager professionally and quickly corrected. The ambiance is so special for kids. So much to look at and see. I spy is definitely a fun game to play here. The commemorative and complimentary fairy crowns are such a unique and amazing touch. The food is all delicious and not things you would find on a typical menu. The kids menu is fantastic and I really appreciate that they quickly bring out an included appetizer with the kids meal to quiet any cranky hangry little fairies at your table. I had the short ribs which were delectable. This place is always busy and always packed but it runs super efficiently. We can't wait to come back.

This experience made up for the last time when we had to wait over an hour for the food. Last night I brought my dear friend from Los Angeles for the enchanted forest experience. The service was excellent, we received our dinner in 20 minutes, the waitress was welcoming and personable, and the food was delicious. Thank you Enchanted Forest for making this a memorable evening for me and my friend.

Our waitress didn't really come by that often and we felt forgotten. Last time we were there it was great. But this time it so much. And both my husband and I feel super sick after. I'm not sure we will be going back.

With a party of eight ranging in age from 15 months to 65 years of age celebrating three birthdays, our server, Sarah, did a fantastic job accommodating all needs. Thank you so much for helping to make memorable memories. We will return.

It was a beautifully decorated forest themed dinning experience that had me feeling like I was dinning at a hobbit party. Everything was great, from the moment we walked in we were greeting with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. I also recommend checking out the shop next door as it is run by the owner of the restaurant and she was wonderful, plus you get a gift if you are dining at the restaurant!

We were celebrating my niece's 18th birthday and my aunt/her great aunt's birthday with lunch on a Saturday. The service was great. The appetizers and salad were excellent. The braised boneless beef ribs were good but looked to me like a different cut of meat. The overall experience was great though. The staff made my niece feel very special. We all loved the light up garland head pieces. The decor makes you feel like you are indeed in an Enchanted Forest. ?

Our group of four enjoyed sitting at the table Beneath the Enchanted Tree. It was beautiful and close to the Irish musicians that were playing. The music was instrumentals, which was pleasant and not loud at all. I loved the music, but would also love a band that is more lively. None of us were disappointed in our choices of food. I can speak for the savory pastry chicken pie. It was delicious! We shared the Irish whiskey shrimp and we all agreed it was outstanding! We are all happy we didn't go home without having the blackberry key lime pie! Be sure to save room for it! Sierra was such a wonderful waitress and a delight to share our special occasions with.

I will be brief. Based on online reviews, we made a reservation and drove the hour from Davis for a special anniversary dinner with my wife along with our daughter. Worst experience ever at a restaurant. Service was nonexistent. We arrived on time but put up front by the window rather than a forest booth supposedly because of a noisy party of 20. Lots of flies. We ordered an appetizer as well as our entrees. Then we waited. Assured our appetizer would arrive soon, we waited some more. And then some more! After 45 minutes with no food, not even a crust of bread, we left. I would never go back and will be advising our friends accordingly.

I had the small filet. It was good. It came with Swiss cheese mashed potatoes, which were cold and needed salt. The broccoli was broccoli. Server was very friendly and welcoming, but the food was just okay. Restaurant concept is a great idea, but because it's in a small town, it isn't spectacular. The best part is that they give you a lighted head dress at the beginning of dinner, which you get to keep. That was fun.

I booked dinner reservations as a surprise for my friend and I to dine there Sunday evening. I was hoping to hear the music but band canceled. Bummer. But the food snd people there were awesome, friendly and seemed to like their job. That's says a lot about a company. I hope to be back soon to surprise other friends with this treat.

The food here is consistently scrumptious with only slight variations, i.e., lots of strawberries vs only a few in the salad, as well as the added chicken served cold or hot depending on the chef; and cubed & mixed into the salad as expected vs served in large slices in a separate bowl. The menu has an outstanding selection of Gluten Free options clearly indicated which is so much better than having to read through all the ingredients of each item on the menu! The interior of Enchanted Garden is quite dark with lots of mini lights adding to the fairytale-like ambiance, along with the flower crowns given to all at no charge. There's also bar area seating with more natural light or the front window where the service often falters because the bartender also acts as the server and tends not to check back often enough, Making reservations as early as possible is definitely recommended as well as putting in any dessert orders asap because they sell out of desserts early; the Gluten Free cheesecake was sold out by 1:30pm on a Saturday. The staff are warm and friendly and truly want everyone who visits the Enchanted Garden to have a delightful experience and will do their best to accommodate any requests.
