Train Station Coffee Shop

We've been here many times. Today we were seated by an older woman. She was initially nice then it went down hill. She was extremely sassy. Had a wooden ruler, tapped by husband on the arm while trying to be funny. We weren't amused. Please leave your sassy at home. 😊
Our waitress was nice and the food was delicious as always.

My family and I decided to have breakfast at this place. The food and our server was great. We gave her a great $ tip. The old lady owner of this place who works the register was rude, argumentative and very abrasive. She had no customer service skills. I feel bad for the servers who have to work under this rude woman. I gave 3 stars due to the rude old lady owner!

We met our daughters family for breakfast as it was our granddaughters 4th birthday. It was our first time and will be our last time going there. DO NOT go here if you have children. We were rudely greeted and treated horribly by the owner. My grandchildren are well behaved. We only could guess that because we came in with children we were not welcomed. We should have walked out but it was our granddaughters birthday and did not want to upset her. Our waitress was very nice and we had great service by her. I think she felt bad by the way we were greeted. Everything seemed to be an inconvenience even having to put 2 tables together for us. It was the owner of this restaurant that was so very rude to the point of telling my daughter that she couldn't count that we had 8 in our party not 7 where did she go to school El Dorado Hills. We didn't include a baby in the count. This was said when we were leaving unbelievable!! We will never return and I suggest if you have children don't go here children are not welcome.

Lovely omolette, good coffee, friendly staff and grest wibe. Will come to Hermanus just to visit this place. Unlike at the Checkers cente one can actually visit the toilet without paying R2.

Passing through town, my buddy and I ended up at the Railroad Cafe while picking up a motorcycle. With us being City boys, dining at this restaurant was exactly what we needed. Good old country charm and character.

The servers were extremely nice, and they worked hard. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. The coffee was pretty good, too.

We highly recommend this restaurant. Tip the servers well.

I had the polish sausage sandwich with a salad ?. The sandwich was pretty plain and nothing to brag about. It's just a roll with sausage on it and nothing else. They could of dressed it up better with lettuce, tomato, and onion and toasted roll with garlic. The side salad was really good. The wife said her breakfast was really good.
