Sierra Pines Resort is the perfect place for a peaceful get away. The room was cozy and the beds comfortable and I loved its rustic charm. There was no cell service in or near the room but that was a welcomed blessing. I recommend booking a room closest to the river as the view and sounds were amazing. The onsite restaurant was equally wonderful with excellent service and delicious food. The owners and staff were most welcoming and personable. I’ll definitely be returning soon.
Stopped by for dinner, right before closing. Friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. We had the trout...best fresh fish I've had in any restaurant! Will definitely be back - laid back and relaxed. Perfect ending to a great road trip
The owners went above and beyond for us, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Set off the beaten path, a short drive from Downieville, this is the perfect location to stay and enjoy the quaintness of the Yuba River, complete with a waterfall and plenty of hiking paths.
Our recent stay at Sierra Pines Resort was amazing! Our room was very clean and cozy. As it is the off season and the main restaurant is closed, we were offered in room dining for dinner. Our meals were delicious and generously proportioned. Cindy and Glen delivered our dinner themselves! When we were checking out, Glen took the time to speak with us about local weather conditions and snowmobiling spots. Cindy and Glen go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. We are repeat guests and we look forward to staying again soon!
Absolutely wonderful!! Even in the off season!!

Stopped by for dinner right before they were closing (had a late ride!) and they were super accommodating. The food was delicious and they had tasty allergy friendly options. The place itself is also super cozy. Just a lovely dinner experience all around.
Had a GREAT two night stay here for the Art & Ag Trail. The resort reminded me of somewhere my family would have stayed during one of our famous late 80s/early 90s road trips. The section of river it borders is magical. The food is fantastic. There’s even a game room with ping pong! The staff even accommodated my excessive need of coffee packets. Already planning on coming back.

Sadly I would not recommend Sierra Pines Resort due to the actions of Cindy the owner. My adult daughter made a 2 night reservation for this weekend and dinner reservations for a special occasion. Due to her partner being in an accident and is in serious condition in ICU she cancelled their reservation Mon. 9/2. The owner refunded her one night and gave her a credit. I know for a fact they can easily fill that reservation since she had trouble getting that date weeks ago. She'll never stay there again nor will we after always enjoying the resort and previous owners. Cindy by the way sadly he is still in ICU. Maybe you'll see fit to refund the $141.00 you were holding as a credit when you ended up renting the room. Possibly improve your negative attitude.

We only had dinner here, but it was fantastic! The little pond is cute, my son had trout from the pond, I enjoyed a wonderful steak and my wife had salmon that she really loved. It was one of the best meals we've had up in the mountains- a must stop! We will be back next visit up !

Excellent service. Prime rib was delicious. Crispy brussel sprouts. Delicious Brad and desserts... Live trout right outside in the pond. Highly recommend it.

Prices are ridiculous . Trout from their own pond, $31.00 plus tax
