I went here after working at a job a 5 min walk away primarily to use the bathroom. This place is TRASH AF. Fries were unsalted, although beer in mug was ok, waitresses were more concerned about talking about coworker drama and prices are bad. I went there around 3pm and left to catch a bus home. If you are less than 60 yrs old, i would not recommend this place to anyone. The high rating is most likely from old white people and few minorities who went there in the 50's, 60's and up.I recommend Cooper's or Thirsty Isle in LB area instead even tho both have fallen as well.It was too quiet, and there were no games or something else to do besides see the boring old tv's, but i did like seeing the MacGyver episode on. Best part of my visit.0 out of 5 thumbs up

I personally did not like my burger. We saw a banner next to the 405 freeway and it had awesome pictures of burgers and onion rings so we gave this place a try. Unfortunately it just wasn't great for me but the truth is my wife like it so maybe you should try this place for yourself.I try not to give bad reviews to restaurants because I understand that cooks, waitresses and other can have bad days and maybe someone was a little off today and that's why I didn't like my food.by the way, my burger was rare when i ordered it medium. My onion rings were not well done like I ordered and the service was just not good. There was one waitress working the entire restaurant and the patio.Hopefully the team was just off a little today and if and when you visit this place things will be better.

ok... I have lived in and worked in long beach almost 23 years and today I wanted to try Curlys for the first time.I had the bacon and eggs with side of biscuit and gravy @13 bucksfriend had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon,biscuits @$8 and a side of bacon @$8... wasnt ready for those prices but bring it on!! lets try this place out.what a let down the eggs and bacon are good the gravy well not so good and the biscuits same.....service matched both the above and dont forget when you get your check you will also have a "labor"charge to boot.great place to hang out and have a beer but i personally dont drink so that was my first and last time.however if your in the restroom and left your karma sutra book at home just look up!!! lol

Iconic local restaurant serving a full menu. Plenty of seating in and out.Our lunch time meals were prepared perfectly and served hot and fresh. Our server was the only wait staff working. She was attentive even though working 5 tables and the bar! BRAVO.My grilled cheese was better than my mom’s. Sorry mom. The fries and rings were delicious. I wanted more…We enjoyed our time there.Such a long running staple in the community, Curley’s desperately needs a refresh. The building and contents are tired and worn.With such a strong menu, patrons would reward you with increased business in exchange for a makeover.Refresh or not, it’s a great menu, the kitchen nails it and the help (at least our server) is extraordinary.Recommended.Parking: Parking could get tricky if the restaurant is busy.
Never been here of all the years passing it by. My mom & I went and were skeptical but really enjoyed the food and service. Prices were fair too. Got a special order veggie grilled cheese and onion rings. No complaints & we will come back again.Vegetarian options: Order to preference
