Food exists for taking Instagram pictures. Cares way more about appearance than taste (or comfort eating). Chips on the the burger looked pretty, but were so hard they scratched my mouth. Bottom bun was weirdly soggy, probably from excessive ketchup. The sauce and cheese they put on top of the fries didn't mesh with the flavor very well, or take the strength of the fries into account. Fries were also bizarrely hollow. Edible, fine, but disappointing. Food exists for taking pictures.

Uhm yum!! Been waiting to go here for the past 6 years but never had a reason to drive all the way up from oc to get it. Finally a friend and I swung by during a beach day and got a couple burgers, some delish fries, a couple of drinks and sat outside to enjoy. They mentioned that they had been closed the last few days due to personal staffing issues so definitely order/call ahead!

Meh this place has gone down quite a bit since we became regulars. Maybe ownership changed? They cook One. Order. At. A. Time! Can't eat inside. Can't refill a soda. Everything seems smaller portions? Maybe they stopped giving a S$&@ cuz they are moving? I dunno but if I pay top dollar for a burger... I expect what they used to be. And if their service has dropped this bad... you think I'm gonna try their pizza ? Hahah sad to see them drop the ball. And I don't know if I'd give them a shot driving all the way to Pedro?? Whatever. Best of luck I guess... we will miss the OG GD

I have to say that the service was great. I truly appreciate the worker who brought my GrubHub order out for curbside pickup. I had called ahead of time to ask if that was possible because it was not listed as an option. They said I could call when I arrived and someone would bring out my order, which they did and were very friendly. Good service carries a lot of weight for me, which is why I've given even 2 stars. Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter, a grilled Chilean salmon filet for myself, and truffle fries with a side of jalapeño cream cheese. The description for the grilled cheese is "melted Swiss and cheddar cheese blend, mixed greens, tomatoes, and house 1000 island dressing." The photo on GrubHub shows exactly what the description says. But what we received was a stiff and dry sandwich composed of a bun and cheese. Definitely not worth $4.49. The salmon sandwich was delicious at first... but about halfway through, I started to feel queasy. The filet slid out of the sandwich, so I was able to get a closer look at the salmon... and it looked like the edges of the filet were not fully cooked. I finished the coleslaw and pickled onions because they really were flavorful (and I was still hungry), but I had to toss the salmon. The truffle fries at the top of the box were crispy and delicious... but there was no truffle aioli, curry aioli, or chives, which - again - were listed in the description and shown in the photo, but were not included with my order. As we got to the bottom of the box, the fries were soggy and covered in oil (hoping this was at least truffle oil, as listed in the description). Lastly, I'm not sure if the sauce they gave me on the side was actually jalapeño cream cheese because it tasted nothing like jalapeño or cream cheese, and definitely did not have the consistency of cream cheese. It was a mix of (mustard-looking) yellow and white sauces, with a sprinkle of something green (chives?) on top. I hate having to leave poor reviews for small businesses, but I also hate wasting food and money, and this was such a disappointing experience.

Was able to Try this place out. Flavors were there, Burger was cooked to my request. But it took forever to get the food combine that with the heat sitting outside on small chairs (no indoor dining) resulted to the 3 stars. Sadly, I was told they will be closing their doors soon and will be replaced to a Pizza joint. Good luck!

Finally tried it. The buns were so soft and fluffy, it soaked up the juices perfectly. The flavors were amazing. Fries were just right amount of crsipy and soft.
We went to Long Beach to go to some dealerships and were looking for a place to eat close by. We found this place and saw it had good reviews so decided to give it a try! ABSOLUTELY GOOD FOOD AND GOOD customer service. They gave us good recommendations on menu items. Shout out to Francisco for being super nice and helpful and thanks for the Starbucks lol. We had the Juan and Only burger combo-BOMB!

So good, and the added crunch of the kettle chips was a new experience for me. Such a great little add and flavor. The fries were crisp and cooked to perfection. And my girlfriend’s sweet potato fries (not pictured) didn’t stand a chance once they hit the table.Being able to enjoy our burgers fresh and hot was a true treat. Ordered a hamburger and fries. Waited 10 minutes and then was told it would be another 10 minutes? I don't know why you would not tell a customer that it would be 20 minutes for a hamburger.I was then told they had other ahead of me. I only saw 1 party waiting
