Trying to figure out another time to hire them again - and all guests were eating it all up. A+! You will be very impressed and you don't need any other food. They made a huge Caesar salad also. We hosted a Pre-wedding party for our extended family that was in town and decided to share a little "piz-za our hearts" with the help of Olive Wood Pizza. And it was a huge hit! Olive Wood Pizza came right on time at 5:30 pm to set up a huge pizza oven and prep tables in our front driveway for them to work on. When our guests arrived at 6, they brought out gorgeous appetizer platters that we chose into our backyard. This included a huge fruit and cheese tray with the freshest fruits, all different kinds of cheese and accoutrements like honey and fig jam and a gorgeous veggie tray with the most delicious hummus. Then at 6:30 pm, right on time, the pizza party really began. The pizza chefs whipped up their creations and then ran it back to our backyard where our buffet table was set up. They brought pizza risers so the pizza sat up high and they continuously refilled it for a full hour and a half. You get cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and then a margherita pizza included in an order and then you choose 4 other variations from their catering menu. We went with OBG, Veggie, Pesto Chicken and Meat Lovers. These were all great choices but my absolute favorite was the OBG with chicken...this was a pizza creation that the chefs just made towards the end of the night and it was AMAZING! They also randomly had smoked salmon and made a smoked salmon pizza for us to try that knocked my socks off. And they were only too happy to do what was needed to make all our guests happy. I had one guest that was allergic to mushrooms but wanted to try a Veggie Pizza so they custom made one for her. And we had several other guests that had preferences and the chefs were happy to accommodate. A few pro-tips if you're thinking of throwing your own pizza party with Olive Wood: 1) Ask for what you want! I was not crazy about people grabbing pieces of pizza with their hands and Olive Wood very easily arranged to bring tiny tongs so each pizza piece was accessible sans hands. 2) Get a Side: We ordered the lemon spinach pasta salad to go on the side of the pizza and oh my goodness was that awesome. It was so delicious and went perfectly with the pizza. 3) Try a taste: They do a tasting for $100 where you can go to Signal Hill and try 4 pizzas and some salad/appetizers. They apply $50 of this tasting to your catering order and I think it was totally worth it to know which pizzas I wanted and which salad. We would absolutely use Olive Wood Pizza again and I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a very unique, delicious and exciting sort of catering experience.

Olive Wood Pizza catered a corporate event for us last night and they were excellent. They were on time, easy to work with, and the food was a huge hit with our guests. We ordered the fruit and veggie platters, two salads, meatballs and wood fired pizzas. Nearly all of the food was gone by the end of the night and everyone raved about it. Highly recommend for any event you have planned!

Their set up was quick and efficient when they arrived, and the food was incredible! All my guests were raving about the food and asking for their info. They even made vegan and gluten free pizzas and made sure they got to the right guests. The beautifully made charcuterie boards were a huge hit and the staff was so kind. You won't regret booking them for your event.

We used Olive Wood for our wedding day meal and we were not disappointed! First of all, they were great with communication and answering all our questions before we booked. They were very kind and made sure we had all the information we needed and were SO easy to work with. They were on time for the day of and the setup was quick and easy. We didn't have any issues with them the day of which was a big help because we didn't have to worry about them at all. The pizzas tasted AMAZING. They were a HUGE hit and the guests couldn't stop raving about the taste. The service by the staff was also so great. They were very friendly and willing to help out to make things easy. They also offer a gluten free option which we were thankful for for some of our guests. We had appetizers as well during cocktail hour which also tasted amazing. Overall we had a great experience with olive wood and would recommend them to anyone! We would definitely use them for future events!
