My experience here was amazing! I’m a local to Crestline and had made the unfortunate mistake of passing this place up till today!! When I say the food tastes quality it’s an incredible understatement. Everything tastes like it was farmed fresh this morning from the fried pickles to the patty on my burger. Outside of that I was very impressed and enlightened by the owner coming out to explain everything on the menu in great detail, down to where the tomato’s are sourced. The service was delightful and incredibly quick for the amount of effort that you can watch goes into this food! I highly recommend to my neighbors or anyone just passing through town!

Got the fried green tomato sandwich and it was delicious!!! Reminded me of a fried green sandwich I ate at Disneyland. Highly recommend this spot. Just found out they’re open till 10PM too. Will definitely be back.

Ordered from the food truck at the lake arrowhead brewing company. Ordered a grilled cheese and puppy patty. Food was left on a table reserved for an event. They don’t call out your order number. The waited 25 minutes for it and the cheese isn’t even melted and they just used a burger bun and flipped it on opposite sides.

I genuinely cannot express how incredible Steve and Ophelia from El Jefe’s Little Kitchen Food Trailer are. After our wedding venue cancelled on us three months before the big day, we turned to ’El Jefe’ in a panic for catering. They had never hosted a wedding before but were so happy to spring into action for us. Steve and Ophelia put together a food tasting and potential table display for the wedding in a quick turn around. While he had a menu for the truck, Steve told us he would and could make any dish that we wanted, and that he did! The food was delicious, the table scape Ophelia put together was beautiful and matched our vision perfectly, and to top it all off- they both had the most amazing, exuberant energy that was contagious to everyone around. The day before, Steve and Ophelia stayed up /all night/ setting up decorations, cleaning the outdoor patio, and prepping food for ~50 people. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. Whether you are hosting a small event or a big wedding, they can and will handle it all with huge smiles on their faces and a willingness to help in any way that they can. We can say with all sincerity that they were the least stressful, and most vibrant part of our big day. We will be turning to them for every single event without a doubt. Thank you Steve and Ophelia, we can never thank you enough!!

After seeing the reviews, I wanted to give this spot a try. I was an hour away so I double checked the hours both on Google and Yelp. Both said that they open at 11 on Wednesdays. I tried their website but did not see hours listed. I arrived at 11:50 on Wednesday, they were closed. I waited until noon, just in case, but still nothing. Fortunately they are close to Lake Arrowhead Village which has many options for food. Not sure if this spot has gone out of business or just neglected to update hours/days of operations. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to find out.

We were visiting Lake Arrowhead and stumbled on this nice food truck. We ordered our food and everyone - myself, wife, and 3 kids - enjoyed our food. It's worth a stop if you have the time and are in the area.

After trying it once from fellow great reviews, it was the only place we wanted to eat at while in the adjacent town, so we went twice. We had his burger, fish tacos, mushroom tacos, fries, onion rings. He gave us homemade ketchup that was awesome. It’s a small trailer kitchen with just him, the sweetest man, kind smile, the experience and credentials to back it up, and built this operation with a lot of love.
He said he cooked the first burger for a little too long, so he cooked a new one cause he cares. I will always want to eat from the cook himself and support small business owners who you can just feel have their hearts in the right place. It was such a highlight of our time in the mountains, and the antique store next door has a beautiful collection - the shop owner John is also a cool dude!

I don’t generally give reviews but I must say after all the positive reviews l decided to give it a try. If you think bigger is better then this might be for you but honestly I was very disappointed. I like a burger I can get my mouth around. I didn’t care for the burger and only ate half of it. Didn’t like the fries either. A total waste of a $20 bill.

Well I have found the best burger I have ever eaten here. The Stanley burger is a huge, delicious bundle of goodness. Cheese is unreal, pickles, grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce, double giant patties of delicious meat. Everybody needs this experience. El Jefe is a super cool guy, I just can't say enough. He even has a doggie dish that I would even try. Thank You for a great meal.
