If there is a better burger in Cali I have yet to taste it. Vonda is a gem and the portions are legendary. You get to bus your own table and get your own drink refills because you can. She’s busy making the food. Giant handmade burgers. Fries the way you want them. I drive from Eureka for this food it’s so damn good,

Very cool place, with some awesome history. The place has 3 inside tables with a small bar, and one gal serving and cooking for everyone. Very skilled at what she does! Pretty solid burger too. Would try if you’re in the market for a good burger in the area. $36 for 3 burgers is a great deal.

Cash only. Best burger in town because it is the only burger in town. Very easy to miss because there are absolutely no signs. Looks like a house. Fries are stale and taste freezer burned but who cares. I felt very safe here with my people.

Not open during business hours. Would be nice to update your Google account.

From Crescent city to Brookings, If you're going to have breakfast there's only one spot it's called Altas the best place along the coast here. Excellent breakfast served hot, lunch is also amazing would not go anywhere else, but Altas.

Delish burgers! Turkey sandwich hit the spot, too. Personal service. Moose-themed decor. No restaurant sign, but across from an original Smith River Bank building that lately housed a bar. Great local experience.

Great cheeseburger that tasted the way a cheeseburger should taste. You can tell by the non-uniform shape of the paddy that this is truly home made food.

Decided to give this place a try (CASH ONLY) based on the reviews and was I ever happy I did.

I ordered a double cheeseburger and almost regretted it as it was massive and came with a huge side of fries as well. You can tell the burger is hand made and it has the taste of home made. Best burger I've had in a very long time.

The lady who runs the place is a winner as well and if you're friendly you'll get the vibe right back and maybe get some nice stories.

Lots of regulars in the place and I would be too if I lived even remotely near by.
