My wife and I recently visited Windwalker Vineyards and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about her wines, the tasting menu was extensive, and every varietal tasted was very good. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
The staff was so fun to talk to, and the tasting room was so cute. There’s also outdoor areas with benches. If you want to enjoy good wine and be surrounded by gorgeous oaks, this is the place to be
Great wine, incredible staff, beautiful setting! Will definitely be back!
Wonderful Winery with awesome vines and friendly people. The Cabernet is my favorite! The air is so fresh and crisp out here. Great experience all around!
Wine was delicious the woman at the front desk very kind would go back
I love this winery. First time there was in 1995. A great example of the Sierra Foothills wine country. Peaceful, scenic, a bit rustic and the wines are very good. The Midnight red blend and Chardonnay are my favorites. Will be back there next weekend!
Windwalker is such a wonderful winery. They have great, award winning wines and a beautiful setting. Jim and Alana, the owners, are gracious and amazing hosts!
What a lovely, accommodating place with great wines. We had booked a tasting for 22 people next door at Perry Creek, but we showed up to find they had closed for the day -- yet we paid them in advance and confirmed. Anyway, a quick call to Windwalker and we headed there. Alanna and Zach welcomed us with open arms -- we sampled a huge variety of wine and many of us bought a lot of wine. The port was excellent as well. Add this to your tasting list if you find yourselves in the area.
Great people. Great wine. Enjoy.
Picked up our shipment and tasted other varieties. So far, not many I don't like!

An amazing location away from it all! With so many lovely shady spots, it's going to be a favorite summer picnic spot to enjoy one of their delicious wines. A good selection of wines with something to appeal to everyone. They definitely know their Bordeaux! Ooh, plus they have some foodie and gift items to peruse while you taste! A must-stop in the Fair Play region!
Outstanding Wine and the folks there are even better. Thank you for the education! What a beautiful place. Its a must see.
Alana and Jim are wonderful hosts and their award winning wines have been in our cabinet for many years!
Love it! So nice and great wines
The BEST Chardonnay in El Dorado County! We were there for a pickup party and the food pairings were fabulous! The band, Boomers, was great as always. One of our favorite wineries in the region.
