I just saw my sis in law last evening in Waterford . She told us she'd just had dinner at Emberz in Sonora. She was raving about the food served, how delicious it was. She claimed Emberz as her favorite restaurant. Bon Appetit!

Being a Sonora native, I’ve seen plenty of establishments come and go—but Emberz has truly weathered the storm. Always packed, always solid. We came here twice during our visit—yes, it’s that good. You know you’re going to get the same quality no matter what day it is or who’s working.
Service can be a bit slow, but that’s simply because it’s a large space and it’s always busy. Drinks from the bar? Good. Desserts? Good. Pizza? Solid. But the CHICKEN WINGS—I’ll be thinking about those bad boys for the rest of my life. The size of these things must have come from giant dinosaur chickens. Honestly, almost worth the six-hour drive just to get them again. From here on out, I will always order them.
I also sat next to a table that ordered some kind of monster sandwich, and while I didn’t have it this time, I WILL be getting it on my next visit. We finished with the brownie for dessert, and it was good.
10/10 for this local legend.

Food was OK (wings sufficient, burger good) and service was helpful. We were so so tired and jet lagged when we arrived, but our stomachs were at least filled

Ordered pizza to go. It was ok. Would have liked it better if toppings covered more of the crust.

We were visiting from out of town and Emberz was recommended to us.

So glad we stopped in for lunch.

Cool place with great food and staff.

Appetizer was bacon wrapped shrimp.

Entrees were Lobster Truffle Mac n cheese and Saltimbocca.

Drinks were a beer and Huckleberry lemonade.

Can't wait until our next visit to go back.

water tasted like used dish water and pizza was just as bad ( maybe from using that nasty water to make dough ) $40 wasted took two bites which really surprised me cause i didn't think it was possible to make a bad pizza. owner should take some pride and invest some of that $ in a water filtration system. epic fail on bright side server was nice

What a fun place. The staff really seemed to enjoy working together. My burger was absolutely next level and the steak salad was unique and delicious. 👍👍👍

Menu pricing was very confusing. Prices online reflected much lower prices. The actual menu builds into the price a 3.5% credit card fee so actually prices are much higher. They say if you pay cash they will lower prices however that wasn’t my experience. Service was great and portions are large. The cucumber lemon water served was just terrible. My steak sandwich was so rare I couldn’t eat it. I will not go back nor will I recommend it.
