Talice made me this amazing cucumber jalapeño margarita that was totally the bomb! She is a keeper!
Talice is a great bartender! My wife and I love coming in regularly and enjoy a cold drink trying a special slice of the day! Try their popcorn chicken on the secret menu and thank me later!
Tony is an absolutely awesome server. Food is amazing. I go to flappy's every wed
Best food and best beer, wonderful place
excellent pizza great apps. loaded tater tots where the best. christmas themed drinks on point. service was 10 out of 10
We went there on the way back home from Strawberry CA, we were 3 families. While checking in, there were empty tables, we were okay to sit separately as we are 3 different families, but were denied to impose the large group gratuity of 20%, this should have already raised red flag, but we continued as the kids were tired and Pizza is a great option without fuss with kids.
Food took bit of time to reach, some of the pizzas were good and some were alright. The issue was the plates that they gave was already soiled / unwashed plates. When we raised our concern to the waiter, he threw those plates on the entrance / greeting table.
Waiter had no remorse, no apologies or anything. He gave us new sets of plates but if the kids started to have their food on those plates then we had bigger issue. Please have quality control, you have your prices pretty high, you are not dominos or Pizza hut with budget pizzas! With 200+ $ bill, the last thing that we expect is bad service and attitude to be shown when we are doing what should have been done by the restaurant.
7 adults and 6 kids were the total party, as said these were 3 different families, cost > food > service. Improvise service for what you charge us for!

Came in for a random weekday lunch and tried several things on the menu, plus a pretty stiff holiday cocktail. Server was quiet but friendly, and everything came out fairly quick.
Pizza was impressive, with a decent thin crust dough.
Cheesesteak was heavy with the two cheeses and generous amount of sliced ribeye, made the authentic way. Steak was not grisly, hoagie roll was good.
Burger was alright, although a tad sloppy since I got the heel of the lettuce, but the burger itself was cooked well.
Tots were crispy. Fat boy fries were pretty good but got soggy fast. Knots were swimming in butter but after the initial shock I realized oh yes these are for dipping and I'm on board.
Kind of pricey for some items but a lot of the stuff they have isn't found anywhere else in town, so it feels justified. I will definitely be back to try the desserts and more of their unique culinary creations.

Amazingly delicious Sunday brunch. Probably the best California Benedict I have ever had....and the bottomless mimosas was the cherry on top of a perfect meal. We have always enjoyed the fun varieties of pizza, but their Brunch takes the cake!!

Kid-friendliness: Flappys pizza is bs me and my friends were treated like trash we were never seated after 20 minutes so we sat our selves then we were never servered after 45 minutes so I flagged the waiter down with money and it still took 15 more minutes then finally when we got someone to come over to our table he said the kitchen was closed So we wasted over an hour of our lives And never got any food they are very rude and not professional

For the price definitely not enough toppings, one piece of carnitas on there n.y. style slices definitely not enough and then two slices or 3 on the pep pizza, also for it being thin crust you would think they could cook it all the way to have good bottom.

Flappy’s Pizza in Downtown Sonora is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming vibe that instantly feels like home. The rustic charm of the exposed stone walls and cozy ambiance, paired with modern touches like their neon signs, makes it a perfect spot for casual outings or late-night hangs.
The pizza? Out of this world! Flappy’s serves up the best pies this side of Yosemite, and they’re not kidding. Their creative toppings and perfectly crispy crusts strike the perfect balance between classic and inventive. My personal favorite is their Chonky Sticks which are thick-crust garlic cheesy breadsticks are the perfect balance of golden, buttery edges and a gooey, melty center loaded with cheese.
The staff at Flappy’s go above and beyond, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. The attention to detail in their service and the pride they take in their menu truly sets them apart.
Whether you’re stopping in for a slice after exploring Sonora’s charming downtown or looking for a fun night out with friends, Flappy’s Pizza is the place to be.
Highly recommend!
